Sam pauses for a moment, smiling a bit. "Sure, I'd like that~."

*Elk suddenly pops up behind Sam, wearing his ever-present Florida Marlins hat.*

Elk: Congratulations! It's a girl!

Ellen: ...Um, I guess you'll be meeting him a lot sooner than I thought.

Sam blinkblinks a little, before giggling at Elk, turning to him. "Heya~!"

Elk: *snaps a salute* Yo! I'm Elk without any antlers, and my nose is just peachy!

Sam giggles a little more at Elk. "Nice to meet ya, Elk~. I'm Sam~."

Elk: *without missing a beat* It's a Dr. Seuss creation in catgirl form! Can I get you some green eggs and ham?

Ellen: *half-jokingly* ...If I have to speak in rhymes, I'm going to register a complaint with my dad.

Sam giggles some more at Elk and Ellen, shaking her head. "Nah, I already ate, nya~."

Elk: No worries about that, I was just trying to be funny. That's why I'm here: to be the bright spot in a field of shadows... *looking puzzled; scratches his head* Or whatever that means. *shrugs*

Sam smiles and giggles. "You were pretty funny, though~."

Ellen: ...I'll leave you two to converse. Pardon me. *gets up and ventures into the arcade*

Sam glances over to Ellen as she goes. "Um, see ya~?" She says, before looking back to Elk, giggling. "You're welcome, nya~."

*Ellen turns a little and nods her head before pushing a stool over to a pinball machine.*

Elk: Now hear this: sick six sheikh's sixth sheep's sick. Five times fast, five times fast!

Sam blinkblinks, before trying to even just say it once, failing a bit and giggling some more.

((It's alright...today I was busy, along with getting over a 'jet lag of ' of a 7+ hour drive. So, yeah...))

Elk: That's okay, that's okay. Takes a lot of work, yeah. And a lot of spare time. *holds up a little bag with a dozen broken pocket watches*

Sam blinkblinks and stares at the bag of broken pocket watches. "Huh~."

Elk: *nods* Yep. Here's a bit of poetry. *clears his throat* Time is like an endless rhyme, leads to happenings sublime, doesn't cost a single dime, dodge a bucket of falling slime.

Elk, that... doesn't make much sense.

Elk: *smiles* A lot of poetry doesn't.
