Looking up, Richard may be calmed...if only slightly...to realize that the tree doesn't seem to be growing too incredibly high. Indeed, after only a moment several others catch up to it, the ascent slowing gently...until the girl finds herself alone on a tree branch in what seems, by all accounts, to be a fairly thick forest.

Her solitude does not last, however, as with a gentle flapping, the little dragon propels itself up next to her, with a proud burst of tiny flame, in a scene looking rather like this. It's catching on pretty quick considering it seems to have just been born.

Oh, God... *Richard stares at forest below, wondering just how all this happened.*

[Victorious]

After a moment, the little dragon settles next to Richard, with a mrrr...as below, with a vanishing trace of rainbow, the last trace of her apartment seems to fade into forest. Her new companion seems rather at home.

Okay, okay... *Richard yells down at the forest.* Hello? Can anyone hear me?

[Victorious]

[Ack--sorry for the delays. I have been somewhat busy the last week or so.]

Yelling down, her voice echos through the trees, clear as a bell.

After a moment, she is answered...but only by the fluttering of birds.

(It's cool.)

Great... *Richard takes a deep breath and starts climbing down the tree.*

(Busy? We're all busy here... )

Damien eyes the makeup-covered crystal for a long time. "That... is the strangest reaction to a ritual of object reading I have ever seen. Who enchanted this, and for what purpose?" He focuses his will and attempts the more overt, and less controllable, drawing out of the makeup's power, trying to get a more obvious display of what it does,

Though the tree is quite large, and Richard herself is outfitted in...less then optimal climbing gear, what between the high-heeled greaves and the gauntlets, she starts to climb down the tree with surprising ease!
Funny, that--hadn't she been tripping all over herself before, in the bathtub?
And yet, this feels more natural to her suddenly, as she quickly alights back on the forest floor, the little dragon descends beside her, like a duckling after its mother.

Damian, in the meanwhile tries harder to find out the make-up's true purpose...and with a jerk of his magical abilities, it feels like he's starting to get somewhere! Quickly now, the flakes of powder start to leave the crystal, (though the item seems to maintain a lightened, pinkish hue in the powder's absence), and swirl into the air! If he looks closely, they seem to be forming words...interesting.
Though not in English. It's hard to tell from a distance though...

Okay, good... *Deciding not to question her sudden tree climbing abilities, Richard looks arond for any signs of civilization once she hits the ground.*

Damien marvels at what the makeup is doing. "Fascinating..." Paying little attention to the change of the crystal, he leans in toward the writing, focus and attempting to divine it's meaning.
