Being Human (SyFy Channel) and Merlin

Being Human is a new series on the SyFy Channel. It is about a ghost girl named Sally, a werewolf named Josh, and a vampire named Aiden and their lives, as well as trying to "fit in".

Aiden and Josh work at a hospital, and Aiden is being "recruited" by his former clan bosses, Marcus and Bishop. Sally haunts her home, and cannot leave her home where she died. Josh is having problems dealing with his sister being a lesbian and worried about how she would react to him turning into a werewolf every full moon.

Aiden is dealing with being investigated by Marcus and Bishop, heads of the clan Aiden belonged to. Marcus disguises himself as a police officer to "investigate" Aiden's involvement in Rebecca (the co-worker)'s death. In the premiere episode, Sally tries to deal with being a ghost and trying to talk to her fiancee, Dan, who owns the place Aiden and Josh are renting, and Josh has to hide his werewolf curse from his sister and family. Eventually, Josh's sister finds out about his secret chamber at his workplace where he turns into a werewolf, and Aiden is dealing with Marcus trying to recruit him back into the clan. Can Aiden survive his bloodlust and Josh deal with his lycanthrophy before he harms his sister?

Oh, Rebecca is now a Vampire, thanks to Aiden, and Josh meets a fellow werewolf in later episodes.

Being Human is on Monday nights at 9pm on SyFy.

And, Merlin is on as well. He's a young wizard-in training who in the current episode accidently unleashes a greedy goblin, who possesses Merlin's mentor, Gaius, and causes the royal family of Camelot grief with boils on the Knights of the Round Table. Arthur gets donkey ears and the braying of a donkey, Uther (the king) and Gwenivere have bad flatuence because of the goblin and his potions, which he sells to the royal family for gold. Merlin must trick the goblin out of Gaius and into his box before Camelot is ruined. Also, Merlin needs a Bestiary book, which Gaius uses to find out about the goblin. The goblin in Gaius's body goes to the local tavern and participates in arm wrestling with the knights and drinks flagons of mead, and collects gold coins for winning bets. Basically, Gaius is not acting like himself. Gaius would not charge the royal family for potions and other stuff, like even making prophesies over the lady of the court. He can brew potions quickly, many of them revolve around making people fart and lose their hair, and cause boils. Bad Goblin!
The episode is Goblin's Gold. The Goblin in the episode sounds and looks like the goblins in World of Warcraft: Cataclysm. he is greedy and searches for gold in the castle, raiding Prince Arthur and Princess Gwenivere's rooms for gold trinkets and other gold-related items. The goblin made King Uther bald, and made everyone fart. Merlin tricks the goblin with gold coins, then poisons Gaius, and then forces the Goblin out of his mentor, then puts the goblin back into his box. They revive Gaius with an antidote, and the king orders the Goblin locked away in his box to a place where he will not be released again.

I was thinking of the line of gold coins and was thinking "Oh, piece of gold! Oh, Piece of Gold!" like in Family Guy.

Being Human is a remake of a British show, and if it's half as good as the one over here I'd really recommend checking it out. And I'm guessing Merlin just is the British version as I didn't hear about them remaking that.
