Victor clutches her poor head, backing away.

"I--gah! I'm not falling for mindgames!"

"Not games. Fact."

She stops the info dump and goes up to Victor.

"Think about it. If I were as bad as you think, I would have made you a mindless robot already."

Sam blinkblinks a little bit. Okay...now that was weird... She thinks to herself, still looking on, although a bit in confusion over that.

The film continues, heedless of Sam's confusion. It shows several other people from worlds conquered by Fimbulvetr, all saying their lives have either improved or not changed at all.

"Well that is good but I don't know.....it just feels uncomfortable is all. I mean you wouldn't like it if somebody took your business or something would you?" said Maya as she rubbed her arms.

"THat's a completely different thing dear. And I'm sure the body will grow on you."

SHe whips out a miniskirt that matches the rest of Maya's outfit.

"Would this help?"

Ryu gives a nod as she closes her eyes, attempting to get into contact with Fim... somehow.

Nothing happens at first, but Ryu may notice several large ships descending from the sky out the window as a portal opens behind her.

"Hmm... interesting. Well to put it lightly... I'm here to see what your doing. My employer is curious."

THe robot zones out for a moment before smiling.

"Miss Fimbulvetr says that he should have come here himself then and not sent a, and I quote, 'Rusting pile of bolts that I would patch up a leaky oil drum with.' unquote."

The silver-haired woman steps into the office, followed by her escorts. She glances about a minute, before stepping towards the gynoid. "Hello... we requested an opportunity to meet with someone in authority..." she says.

"I manage the day-to-day affairs of Niflheim Industries. How may I help?" the gynoid asks.

*Turns one of the weapons around and shoots at the man's kneecaps.* I'm sorry, what were you saying?

THe moment she tries, Raleigh freezes up, and a message pops up in her vision!

Nothing happens at first, but Ryu may notice several large ships descending from the sky out the window as a portal opens behind her.

"..." She stares at the portal, and then looks at the ships. After a moment, she shrugs. "Well, not my problem any more on what happens to this place." Smiling with a wave to everybody, she stepped on through the portal.

[Raleigh]

Interesting. I wasn't informed I couldn't make them listen. Fim really should have been much more specific when she gave the orders. Oh well, no weapons I suppose. *Tosses a spell to cut off the man's leg instead since that is an inherent ability Raleigh possesses.* Now then, I believe I was discussing my current employer with you. I believe I was asked to show examples of what happened to those who resist to ideal recipients and I have again asked if you are someone sufficiently important to be worth showing this to. If you aren't I have more important things to do than stand here and talk to you.

[Maiden Miki]

"I-I-I don't know," said Maya as she blushed a little bit and felt the miniskirt wrap around her legs. She tugs on it with her left hand and then nodded nervously. "A-A-A little bit."

Sam crosses her arms a little as she continues to watch. "Hm...maybe they aren't so bad..."

[Victorious]

The silver-haired woman stands at attention, taking on a more formal posture. "I am here as a representative of the CTC. We are interested in meeting with someone within your organization in the interests of acquiring at least basic information regarding your goals and intentions, as well as to discuss the possibility of, at the very least, a non-aggression agreement, if not some sort of agreement regarding the exchange of mutually beneficial technologies and/or information." She then relaxes slightly, letting a slightly smile spread across her lips. "Although based on the cursory information we've collected, I suspect Miss Fimbulvetr will likely have little interest in such. But there is no harm in asking, I suppose."

[Blaze]

"Welcome back." Fimbulvetr says.

The man screams as another warning pops up.

Fimbulvetr nods.

"So you'll go now? To save those poor people from cruel experiments?"

Sam crosses her arms a little as she continues to watch. "Hm...maybe they aren't so bad..."

THe film them moves on to show the good things done by the empire. Several worlds collaborating together have eradicated several diseases and invented things that they sell. These things make up 45% of the profit the company makes!

She hesitates...and takes a step back shaking her head.

"No--no, if you could have this job done by a mindless 'robot', why recruit humans at all?"

"Ah, you are a clever one~"

She pokes Victor on the nose.

"I'm sure you noticed how strange the androids downstairs acted. No matter how lifelike I make and program a robot, there's always that mechanical aspect that puts them in the Uncanny Valley. Making them think they're human helps, but if they find out they're robots, they have a crisis of self-identity and break down. But if I make androids from people and let them keep their memories and identity, I bypass the Uncanny Valley completely!"

She grins and pats Victor on the shoulder.

"Although the process is difficult, so I only use it to create Heralds or any other robots that work with humans, since I don't want them to scare the poor things~"

"Well... I cannot be 100% certain about the non-aggression pact, but a mutual trade of technology would be likely. As for out goals, that is simple. The expansion of our company across several worlds through any means."

She arrives back at the white room.

"Welcome back." Fimbulvetr says.

"Thanks," she said, "So... how did I do?"

"I-I-I don't know....It just seems scary and well...I don't like fighting..." said Maya as she was bit unsure still.

Miccah sat through the film without saying much at all.

"Well of course there will be upsides, but there must surely be downsides as well." She mumbles to herself quietly, although she is now watching with more interest than she'd care to admit.

[Blaze]

"Thanks," she said, "So... how did I do?"

"Getting them to surrender without a fight, you did very well." Fimbulvetr says, patting Ryu on the shoulder.

Sam continues to watch, leaning back in her seat, her arms still crossed. "Huh..."

Miccah sat through the film without saying much at all.

"Well of course there will be upsides, but there must surely be downsides as well." She mumbles to herself quietly, although she is now watching with more interest than she'd care to admit.

"In conclusion, we here at Niflheim like to think of ourselves as a strict parent. Tough, but fair."

The film ends.

"I-I-I don't know....It just seems scary and well...I don't like fighting..." said Maya as she was bit unsure still.

"Well, if you're convincing enough, you won't have to fight!" Fimbulvetr points out.

Victor recoils slightly at her poke, her frown deepening as much as her synthetic face allows! She didn't, admittedly understand a lot of that, (though the maids certainly had been unnerving), but it didn't make Fimbulvetr sound any more pleasant, that was a certainty.

"...So I'm right then?"

Fimbulvetr smirks a bit.

"You mentioned that you were ruled by a tyrant back home? I imagine you're a freedom fighter of some sort, trying to oust your rulers. Can you tell me with all honesty, the rebellion hasn't done bad things in pursuit of that goal?"

She puts an arm around Victor's shoulder.

"And yet, you must continue because you believe what you're doing to be the right thing. That it will improve the lives of everyone?"

[KonokoHasano]

"Getting them to surrender without a fight, you did very well." Fimbulvetr says, patting Ryu on the shoulder.

She smiled at that. "Thanks, I was half expecting them to try to do something."
