"Then let get you to sit down a bit so that way you don't fall and hit your head," said Maya as she helped Elliot down to the ground. She noticed that Elliot wasn't running a fever. "Are you having a hard time breathing?"

Instantly should you win. Its not that difficult to simply give out mere superpowers. Its a lot harder to give you real abilities and skills by comparison.

I can fix you right up Elliot. *Places a hand on the kid's shoulder and unleashes a nonlethal but instantly painful jolt of electricity into him.* There we go, that should purge anything bothering you. Can't have my employee's sick after all.
