Rushed by the incoming walls, Elliot reached out and grasped the vial with the stone on, and the one with acid on. He swallowed a deep breath, staring at them both before tilting his head back, and then pouring the contents of each on right down his throat.

*Elliot's form briefly turns to stone, which quite possibly could have been used to make him hard enough to stop the walls, though the lack of mobility afterwards would have been an issue. Unfortunately, unless Elliot has any unique immunity to acid, the stone rapidly dissolves from within due to the effects of the extraordinarily potent acid, which could probably have been used to melt the wall in front of Elliot allowing for access onward.*

*The cave rumbles, and collapses. It is potentially quite important to limit one's power when destroying the walls of whatever one's standing in. Smoke begins to seep out from the cracks and holes in the roof that leaves Raleigh feeling progressively younger and more feminine. Then the second boulder impacts.*


Hmm... *Points at a hitherto unseen television.* Well, it seems like a loss for both, though there's a chance either could escape at this point. Elliot could have taken the poison and finished the race as an insubstantial ghost, or used the acid to melt through the wall, and Raleigh could have used an attack spell designed to say, destroy something smaller than a fortress wall. Ideally the solution would have been to make a small hole in the wall and let the boulder destroy the obstacle, but the brute force method could have worked fine

Elliot's eyes widen as he feels everything starting to get stiff. Before he knew it, he was frozen, as the acid dissolved his stony insides, which was painful to say the least. However, there were no screams or struggles, just an intense burning inside his chest and stomach as he stood there...
