The knight finishes off the potion just in time for a tiny red bead to fly forth from a corner of the room. A few feet from the knight, it blossoms into a brilliant ball of fire. While the blast mostly engulfs the night, the alchemist is on the fringe, though Tim and the maid are not in the area effect. Its hot enough to hurt, probably to scar, but not intense enough to kill. "Quiet enough of this nonsense," rasps a voice from the corner. There stands a man, clad in a heavy black robe, rail thin and near deathly pale, his face gaunt and his cold blue eyes eyes hard, his thin blond hair long and unruly. "I thank you for subverting their wills, knight, it has saved me the effort. Now turn over your magic trinkets and I'll allow you to leave without scarring you further. Those useful to me will be rewarded when I take control of this realm, and you may be the first."

"You welcome sir," bowed the maid to the knight. She then walks back a bit and walked back to her mistress.

"Why are we helping the knight that had attacked us Mistress?" asked the Maid as she looked at her mistress. The maid then notice the flames and looked surprised.

The knight gets up slowly, cracking his neck. "Thank you, um... whatever your name is." He pats the maid on the shoulder. Then he turns to Tim and motions her to come to him. "I'm sorry for scaring you like that, my dear. I had to teach this assassin a lesson about power. I hope you didn't mind." He gives her a smile. Well, until he's engulfed in flame. He stands up out of the fireball, looking a little singed but not hurt. "Great, another one? How many villains did you have vying for power in here anyways, dear?"

Meanwhile, Grunwalde's magic courses through her. She can feel the life energies of those around her, and in the vials she has strapped to her in various places. She knows just how to make more of those vials, and she also knows... that all life is sacred, and not to be cut short...

The mage scowls at the kinght. "Humph, fire protection. I should have expected. Fine." He thrusts his palm forward and blasts a cone of frost at the knight, trying to freeze him in place. "Villains? Is it villainous to desire to bring order and peace to the world? I think not. Because when I rule, that is what we shall have. I rather less like the idea of doing it openly, and not through proxy," he glances at Tim, "but you have ruin that. Alas."

Grunwalde falls backwards onto her rear from the fire blast. "Whoa!" Which lets her not notice for the moment her mind beginning to shift.

She looks over to the new figure. "Watch where your throwing fireballs!"

((Heh.... wonder if she has an elixir of life...))

*TIm frowns as she is once again interrupted from talking with the knight.*

"Oh, ignore him. He's just a big idiot anyway. We could go do something just you and... Not that I'd ever want to be alone with you, a gallon of whip-cream, several bananas, a vat of jelly, and a starving tiger!"

(What is this character's name? haha)

"You welcome," said the maid with a nod and was already back with her mistress.

"Do you want me to gather those items for later Mistress?" asked the maid as she was overhearing the conversation.

The knight is frozen in place. Again, he doesn't seem to be hurt besides having icicles on his eyebrows. However, the formations have effectively rooted him to the floor. "Order! What do you think I'm trying to accomplish? Even the good kingdoms of the land have their problems. I, however, already am a rightful ruler. I'll be happy to have your help bringing peace, righteousness, and justice to the world."
The knight blinks his blue-ish face and looks at Tim. "Okay, I REALLY need some alone time with you..."

Grunwalde notices that the mage's eyes are kind of cute, but he's much too skinny for her tastes.
[Up to you, really. All your poisons are potions and elixers, so whatever you think would heal the equivalent of hurt.]

[Miki, there are so many nameless characters here right now... just go nuts with it.]

"Yes! I mean if you're going to make..."

"Wait, you're mine, right?"

"Mage! Hold him in place for a few more seconds. I'll get rid of all this ambivalence and finally be able to think sanely again!"

*Tim giggles in a fashion that's not altogether sane. The stress seems to be getting to her. Then she plucks the flower from her new maid's hair and sticks it straight into the knight's.*

"If you're not a man, then it won't be half as weird that I want to do all that stuff with you!"

"... this day is getting weirder by the minute."

She looks over to the fireball/ice spell throwing mage. "You know a elixir of fortitude would really fill out your frame nicely... you would look a lot more healthy."

"Rightful heir? Hmm, perhaps you do have use..." The mage beings to cast another spell, but is distracted by Tim's comment about the knight, food and a tiger. He tries not to laught, but Tim's actions just push him over the edge, and miscasts his spell, resulting in a cloud of magic glitter fountain out and showering down upon all assembled, bar the mage himself. It sticks. Now everyone is glittery. It's not a bad look on anyone, really, but is probably the best on Tim and the maid. "Ah, ahem, yes. One moment please, I'll have a spell with which to crush you... him in just a moment." He begins to cast again, really trying to focus this time.

"OH! Your rose Mistress! I sorry for not giving it to you sooner. I know that is is important to you," said the maid as the rose was taken out of her hand.

"Oh? I am sparkly. So are you mistress!" said the maid as she looked at Tim. "May I say that you look good that way miss."

Tim finds she just barely can't reach the knight as long as she holds the rose. He smirks. "Sorry my queen, I already thought of that." He looks even more handsome while sparkly, especially since he actually combs his hair. "Could you possibly stop that mage for me? I'm kind of stuck at the moment."

Grunwalde finds she feels less hatred towards the knight... although she is still free to be peeved about the whole transforming her thing.

"F-fine then!"

*Tim turns and stomps toward the mage, practically stabbing him with the rose as she tries to use it on him.*

"Then I'll just do it on everyone else until I find a way good enough to do it to you... though in the meantime I guess it would be O.... GWAAARGH!"

*With a shout of frustration, TIim proceeds to poke the mage several more times, trying to get the rose to stick.*

The mage gets the right spell off this time, conjuring a cloud of choking gas in an area centered on the knight. The smell is foul that everyone in it (which is all of them except Tim, who got over before the spell was cast) can barely breath without retching, and the miasma so dense that they can hardly take half breaths, anyway. "In a minute or two, you'll all be unconscious, and I can get this mess cleaned... What, no don't touch me with that!" The mage recoils back from the rose, but Tim jabs him pretty easily on the second try; the mage was never really one for defense.
