Getting Sneak Up

Marlie doesn't respond. She sees the text, takes the battery out of her phone and throws it out the window.

"Allison what are you doing home so early?" Her mother asks.

"Umm....Something happen. We had to leave early," said Allison as she tries to mask her tears.

Marlie would see that Allison had left her sketch book behind.

Marlie decides to leave it alone. Several malicious thoughts run her head but she ignores them.

Marlie may realized that she hasn't really seen the stuff that Allison draws. Just bits and pieces of it.

"Not really...Me and Marlie had what I guess you called a fight," said Allison a she took a deep breath.

Marlie feels too tired to look and falls asleep

Her mother wraps her in a hug. "It'll be okay, sweetie." She says

"Mom? What if a friend is kind of different and she wants you to be different like? The thing is that you are unsure?" asked Allison nervously as she holds on to her mother's embrace.

"What do you mean honey?" Her mom asks.

"Well....Umm...." said Allison as she was unsure nor did she wanted to tell her mom what was going on. "A friend really likes something and wants another friend to like something. The problem is that other friend likes something but isn't sure though. Or she is unsure if she likes that something."

"you need to be more specific." mrs. Brown says. "is this about Marlie?"

"Umm...yes." said Allison as she was blushing a bit.

"What happened between you two?" Her mother asks.

"Umm....I don't know. We got in a fight I think," said Allison as she didn't want to tell her mom the full details.

"Why don't you go to bed and we can talk about it in the morning." Her mom suggests.

"Umm...Okay...." said Allison as she nods and gives a hug to her mom.

"Goodnight Honey" She says as Allison goes to bed.
