Its more expedient that way. Alright then I think we've already covered things like making the edge sharper so as to cut through objects. How about we experiment with making paper move by you making the cards sort themselves?

Ellen: ...Alright.
*muttering to herself* ...They weren't in any particular order when I grabbed them... four suits, thirteen cards a suit... save the jokers for last... *looks up* ...Should I set it up like a game of Freecell and sort them that way?

Sure. If I recall that has enough complexity for this stage of training.

*Ellen sets up the game, alternating between the normal setup method and the "paper control" method in doing so. She focuses strictly on "paper control" for the actual playthrough, taking a short break each time she begins to feel tired.*

Ellen: ...Just so long as I don't trap myself in a corner with the wrong move.

[Raleigh]

*Continues to watch seeing nothing wrong yet.* Did we ever do the hands off origami yet?

Ellen: *frees up an empty 'cell' and moves several Hearts to the appropriate pile* ...We might've, back when I started to learn the basics. ...Wouldn't hurt for a refresher course, maybe.

Aye. Probably best to do something like that every so often to keep your abilities up sort of like exercising. You are doing well with moving the cards.

Ellen: *ponders her next few moves* ...Been practicing whenever I can get away with it. Recently it's been during the evening, when Elk is busy watching the pro hockey playoffs and can't bother me.

No offense to Elk but he can actually pay attention to one of those long enough to watch it? I mean I can't do that as I've always found organized sports to be so.... boring for lack of a stronger word coming to mind.

Ellen: ...He likes to watch the little black dot moving around the screen. *goes ahead with the moves she was pondering, freeing up some space on the left side of the game* ...Granted he does like the Florida teams, and he starts dancing like a maniac whenever they score... *ponder ponder* ...but as long as there's that little black dot moving around the screen, he's as happy as a shark at a beach party.

Interesting simile. *Observes how close to being done Ellen is to determine when to bring up the next part of some of the training and review.*

Ellen: ...Thank you. *seems to be fairly close to finishing as she speaks* ...Comes from spending time at Dad's place of employment. ...There, that should do it. *wipes a bit of sweat off her forehead*

*A cup full of ice water appears before Ellen.* So we have moving, sharpening, and some forming. Perhaps hardening might be the idea for what to work on next. I do recall having seen paper masters stop bullets with only a single sheet of paper after all.
