The Destroyer Is Manifest!

[Feng]

Announcer: Today on cooking with Burnt Toast!

<The Scene shows the world famous Chaijin/Chibi chef Burnt Toast engaged in an epic duel with a giant black squid. The squid, armed with a plethora of cooking implements attempts to slice and dice Burnt Toast who is armed with a humble whisk!>

Announcer: Burnt Toast shows you the secrets of preparing the elusive killer Death Squid into a tantalizing twelve course dinner!

Burnt Toast: The first step to cooking Death Squid is overcoming your Mollusk in single combat! While normally this might seem like a daunting task I will share with you lucky viewers the secrets to preparing this prized dish! First and most important, maintain constant eye contact with the squid. Do not, I repeat, do not let him evade your gaze as the creature is a dangerous killer capable of cleaving the flesh from your bones with its bare hands. Vigilance viewers! Constant vig-WOAH!

<The squid throws three of its knives at the chef, who nimbly dodges. The weapons instead hit the camera man causing the screen to go to static>

<<TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES PLEASE STAND BY>>

A picture of a monkey with a wrench and a banana appears on screen. Seconds later it is interrupted by an emergency news update. A buxom brunette newscaster appears onscreen!

Newscaster: We interrupt this program to bring you this breaking news update! Sightings of a strange giant creature has been spotted wreaking mass havoc and destruction in the downtown area. We now go live to reporter Rachael Smith who is at the scene.

<The scene shifts to a petite red head standing in the middle of Muffinville Park. In the distance, the giant monster can be seen wreaking havoc!>

Rachael:Thank you Trisha. As you can clearly see it appears that a giant monster is attacking the city. Local law enforcement groups have been dispatched to the scene but they appear to be clearly outmatched.

<A police car is suddenly flung in the direction of the reporter. The news crew scream and duck for cover as the camera goes to static>

Trisha: Thanks Rachael for the update. In the meantime local residents are advised to stay indoor until the Kaiju threat has been properly dealt with.

<The scene switches back to the kitchen in which Burnt Toast appears to have somehow subdued the squid and is now boiling it in a pot>

Burnt Toast: ....And that is how you defeat a Death Squid. For our next step we....

[Albedo]

Al frowns from a shop window he was looking in, "Darn, now I won't know how he does that." Al then turns around to see... the penguin, "Well okay, that beats a death squid!"

[Maiden Miki]

"Hmm...Stupid monster....." said Megan as she looks up at it from the park. She seems to have gotten out of a nearby cardboard box and was in the middle of folding it up. "Ruining my program."

Megan then made gold flames come out of her right hand. Soon the flames began to take the form of a long katana.

[Feng]

As Megan draws her blade, a sudden fear seizes her from within as she realizes that before her stands the Destroyer, ravager of countless worlds! The Destroyer lets out a mighty roar before unleashing a cone of cold air, sending a wave of chill that just barely misses Albedo!

MEANWHILE somewhere in a mysterious Temple...

A Chaijin shaman raises his hands high as his acolytes chant prayers in the ancient tongue imploring the Destroyer hasten his destruction of the human world so that they, the chosen few, may inherit the upper realm!

Stone Beak: Come, oh mighty destroyer, oh ravager of worlds! Pass your swift judgment on the unworthy and prepare the way for us, the faithful few, so that we may inherit our birthright!

MEANWHILE in a hidden chamber beneath said Temple...

<Lord Bones stands in the center of a mysterious mystical array. Nearby a few of his minions set up equipment or stand guard>

Bones: It's about time that fool began his ritual. Little does he know that his actions are contributing to my own plans for the city. I do hope my hired mercenaries have finished setting up the shrines though. I would hate for things to go awry once my own ritual commences... -_-

[Maiden Miki]

Megan freezes as a shiver ran up her back. Her hair was standing on ends as she suddenly was told from some unknown force that this was something to be feared. This 'Destroyer' was something to be feared of as the small chibi looked up. She slowly moved her katana up and began to swing it to avoid getting a full blow of the icy attack.

"I-I-I not scared...." said Megan as she ran the blade down the ground and then did a quick raise upward to release a flying slash attack that missed by a little bit. She then did another attack aimed at the leg.

[Blaze]

Blaze stands behind Bones in the hidden chamber, arms crossed and a frown on her face.

"Seems you had everything in order from the beginning. Why do you need me?"

[Feng]

Blaze may or may not notice that she is marked by strange red markings on her face and arms, similar to the ones sported by Bones and the rest of the individuals in the room.

"You still have a role in the grand scheme of things. While it appears that keeping Stone Beak alive works in my favor, I still need your muscle to assist once things turn ugly. Once my counter-ritual takes place it won't take long for our buddies upstairs to realize what we are up to. I suggest you make what preparations are necessary."

"Glad to see you're awake" says Doc waving to Blaze. "How are you feeling?"

(Eep, I skipped Megan. Sorry!)

The katana does little other than drawing the attention of the angry penguin!

RAWR! it shouts as it attempts to squash the girl with it's feet.

[Blaze]

Blaze mearly examines the marking, blinking.

"Whoa hey..."

She checks under her clothes to see if they're there too!

[Maiden Miki]

Megan doesn't move and at the last second uses her super Chibi strength to try to push away the foot.

"No-no-no way..." grunted Megan as she was trying to move out from the foot and push it away.

[Feng]

The foot barely budges, just barely missing the Chibi girl.

Back in the temple, Blaze will find that the markings do indeed continue beneath her clothing.

Bones: I took the liberty of having one of my female medical staff prepare you for the ritual. Don't worry, while I may be a Criminal Mastermind, a pervert I am not.

[Blaze]

Blaze sighs in relief, face still a bit red.

"Well... okay, fine. What's my part in this ritual of yours?"

[Maiden Miki]

The foot barely budges, just barely missing the Chibi girl.

Back in the temple, Blaze will find that the markings do indeed continue beneath her clothing.

Bones: I took the liberty of having one of my female medical staff prepare you for the ritual. Don't worry, while I may be a Criminal Mastermind, a pervert I am not.

Megan hopped back and frown a little as she switched arms with her blade.

"Take this!" said Megan as she began to run towards the monster and tried to stab it. "Wh-where you come from?"

[Feng]

Bones: At this point, your role is merely to provide extra security. However if that bores you, I do need somebody to help find Megan for me before the ritual starts. I'm certain somebody of your caliber can easily track her down, yes? ^_^

::Insolent child:: it speaks to her telepathically. ::You dare raise your sword against me? For that you must be destroyed!::

[Blaze]

Blaze looks at the assembled group.

"Will you be okay on your own? I don't get paid if you get discovered and killed."

[Maiden Miki]
