Well, so much for magic. Lance sighs, resisting the urge to hug the girl before setting her down on her feet. "I would hope not, since we're both stranded up here now," he replies. "...So, any idea on what's going on? Or more importantly, how on earth we're gonna get out of this one?"
Rosetta shrugged. "No idea. My intelligence says that some Elder God got released from Nathan's lab and then bottled up a few days ago. Suddently, rockets hit everywhere and this happens"
She looked around. "We have to be careful." She said. "If some of this stuff doesn't kill, it could corrupt, and that could be just as bad."
Behind them, a beast was watching them. It was silent and motionless for now, but it eyed the pair intently through many, many eyes...

"Got who?"
"Natasha." He said scrambling away. As he did,
she burst out of the rubble and glared at the pair. Magic began to conjure in her hand.

The fire is successfully extracted and the hounds crumble to dust leaving the lizard exposed.
Meanwhile, a purple fog creeps into the rubble of the lab.

"... eh, this is suddenly boring." Waves the classmates, telling whichever remained to shoo as he walked away from the girl. "Wonder where the abomination is exactly..."
She would need only to look up at the sky to see it. It began to bombard the teenagers again, and in within moments, they begin to shift and transform. The lucky ones grew feminine, or in the case of the girls, more feminine as they developed into voluptuous witches. The rest were simply changed into shuffling hordes of the undead...and all of them were targeting her.

"I've never tried my sword on anything that big before!", he yelled to the summoner girl. His knees were starting to shake a little, as trying to keep an eye on the huge monster meant losing track of those corrupted nurses. He glanced back over his shoulder, blonde hair flicking about to check Julia through the glass to window. "Do you think you could make me look good here? You see... I'm trying to make her my girlfriend... ".
"What?" The Summoner quipped. "Are you mad? We're at war here."
She finished chanting and an old man appeared in front of them. He raised a staff toward the water beast and jolted it with a spectacular blast of electricity. In moments, the beast was slain, along with many creatures around it. The old man vanished promptly. Light meanwhile, clutched her midriff looking quite winded.
From the back of the room, there was a shriek!

He stands back as wood and iron erupt from the scroll, filling the alleyway until it is a
padlocked wooden gateway.
"Wow..." Julia marveled. "Impressive."
The sound of zombies clawing at the gate could be heard, and ahead, they could see more advancing from the other end of the alley. Julia fired 3 rounds quickly, each relieving a zombie of its head.
"We have to get into the building. There's isn't any time."
A thin trail of mist crept under the gate toward them. It was barely noticeable at the moment...

The CTC keep their distance from the manifested form of the elder god -- although several of their drones note the apparent ineffectiveness of Bones' cannonball against it. The ground troops continue to do what they can to rescue the citizens of Muffinville, directing them to established evacuation centers. More troops arrive in armored vehicles, deploying powered armor with heavier weapons to help fight off the increasing tide of monsters.
The vertol craft do their best to provide air support, strafing mobs of the monsters with their missile pods, but as the dragons come into view, the aircraft scatter apart, doing their best to fight back against the dragons, stafing them with missile and laser fire!
Many dragons were felled by missile fire, but many others avoided the missiles or destroyed them and survived to pounce onto the vertols. Those that did would be able to swing them around, their brute strength overpowering that of the vehicle engines.
The evacuation centers were the primary targets of the angered God. Purple haze was dropped toward it and monsters attacked them in waves. It seemed that the more people were packed together, the more those locations were targeted.
Feng wrote:"Oh dear," mumbles Bones, spying the horde of approaching demons. He turns to his two maids. "Lilly, Blossom, I think it is best that you both return to the Storm Crow. I'll handle business down here. Please have tea ready for my return. Oh, and leave the cannon behind for now. I'll have my men send for it later."
The two maids curtsy before heading towards the airship parked nearby. From his sleeves Bones produces a pair of flintlock pistols, intending to hold off the approaching assailants hoping a diversion will allow his servants to escape unscathed.
The monsters continued their descent toward the group, but they seemed focused on Bones. To his right, a group of
demon women landed, while to his left,
a gigantic beast rose. The flintlock bullets seemed to do well against the former, but were totally ineffective against the latter.
Meanwhile, a purple haze seemed to be coming after the maids...
