Helping Flurry Adjust

[Blaze]

The fox girl formerly known as Lance receives a letter in the mail! It's from Nova, a request to come to the area indicated on the enclosed map. Said map has a circle drawn around a field outside Muffinville.

Should said ice fox go to the field, she would find Nova waiting for her, massive axe in hand

[Blindsense]

Flurry doesn't take long to arrive. She tentatively approaches the black-haired foxgirl, her eyes glancing around as if she was expecting to be attacked then and there. "...Hey," she greets, clearly nervous.

[Blaze]

Nova smiles at Flurry and runs over to give the older foxgirl a hug!

"You came... it's good to see you." ^^

[Blindsense]

Flurry can't help but blush at the sudden sign of affection. "Y-yeah... You, too," she replies, smiling a bit. "It's nice to see a friendly face again... You're the only person I've really talked to since the accident." she shivers. "So, what made you want to meet here of all places?"

[Blaze]

Nova looks up at the girl, a small smile on her face.

"Well... it's about your ice powers... you need some lessons on how to control them I think."

[Blindsense]

"Control them? I think I can control them just fi... fi... ACHOO!" With a loud crack, a nearby tree becomes totally encased in ice.

"...Kay, I see your point."

[Blaze]

Nova giggles and shoots a blast of flame at the free, thawing it.

"I thought you might..." ^^;;

[Blindsense]

"Yeah..." Flurry giggles a bit, shrugging as she glances back at the thawing tree. "Ah, well. So, do you have some sort of plan? I mean, our powers are pretty much opposite... Not to mention I'm not exactly a fighter like you..."

[Blaze]

Nova smiles and nods.

"I do have some ideas for teaching you control. And my powers being fire can only help." ^^

[Blindsense]

Flurry blinks. "I'll take your word for it. Frankly, I'm willing to try anything that will prevent any future accidental snap freezings of Old Mrs. Jenkins's cat...

[Blaze]

Nova shudders.

"I won't..."

She moves away from Flurry and nods.

"THis should be far enough..."

[Blindsense]

Flurry giggles a bit. "I promise I won't put you into stasis or anything," she laughs. "So... What's the plan?"

[Blaze]

"Okay, here's what we do... I'll send a sustained stream of fire at you, while you send a beam of ice at me... the goal is to try and keep them balanced. So the point where they meet doesn't shift too close to one of us. Understand?" Nova asks, conjuring two balls of flame in her hands.

[Blindsense]

"Err... Yeah! I can do that..." Flurry replies, giggling uneasily as a shaky aura of cold surrounds her. "Let's... Do this?"

[Blaze]

Nova nods and smiles.

"Don't worry, I'll cut it off it gets too dangerous."

She thrusts her hands towards Flurry, a beam of blue flames leaping out at her!
