Blaze nods and pops open the jar, grabbing the essence within with a pair of large tongs. She sticks it into the fire where it starts to lose it's reddish tint as black smoke is emitted from it.

"The flames have been blessed by Jean. This is the first part of the purification process."

Blaze soon pulls the essence out of the fire and places it on the anvil. At this point it looks like an amorphous gray cloud.

"Since this was a weaker-willed demon, we just have to will it into the desired shape. Stronger demons require moulds and other methods."

Okuni takes a hammer and starts pounding the essence, her eyes narrowed in concentration. With each blow, the essence takes on a more defined shape, eventually becoming a survival knife which Blaze picks up and twirls.

"Nice~ This thing will never rust and never lose it's edge."

I see. That is an interesting method. I tend to use more of a captive soul matrix method myself. First I take the material I want to use. *He sets to demonstrate by pulling out what looks like a piece of that odd metal he uses for his personal items.* In this case the some special metals from Eden. Next I form it into the desired weapon type which will be a scimitar this time around I believe. *There is a blur of movement around the forge before Raleigh holds the finished weapon.* I then take the soul I captured such as this third tier greed demon I personally absorbed out there. *The group can see a demon's soul wriggling as it manifests floating over his hand.* I then channel it into the enchantments and physical housing I've created. This can destroy the mind of the selected soul if you aren't careful or want it to. *He sets about using the hand that has the soul floating over it to inscribe enchantments and sigils into the weapon blessing it with the mundane things all magic swords have and then expands outward to the point that the sword will absorb the fortune (not material but rather luck fortune) out of those it hits. It also seems to leave in those who survive being attacked with it a greedier mindset leaving them to destroy themselves with the sin's influence.* I tend to prefer the souls remain aware as a form of... punishment for some. Say a dark or fell knight bound in a holy sword as its amusing. I do usually put in a method to keep the wielder from being affected but not always. There are times when you want your creation to only be in the hands of the worthy after all.

Blaze whips out a notepad and pen and quickly writes down what Raleigh was saying.

"I see where you're coming from. But what's great about this method is that it lets you make stuff that would be hard to design normally, like those gunboots I made Kazuya earlier."

She checks the forge's temperature and nods.

"It's ready. Do you know what you wanted to make?"

Yes. A new set of blades for my boots as well as a few other surprises for close range combat. Most people don't know it but when I'm in full armor my boots are designed to open up when I kick or stomp on something thus exposing blades similar in design to a spear tip. Its one of the tricks that makes my form of the dragoon's jump type techniques so painful for targets. That and my armor weighing a few tons.

"Right, can I see your current blades so we know how big to make them? And please define 'surprises." Blaze says, taking out a tape measure.

THe others meanwhile, take out A4 sheets of paper listing their desired weapons and give them one more check.

For my boots? Sure. *He pulls out the particular blades he is using currently from nowhere. They are in the form of an inclined V much like a snow plow might be but much more severe in the point. If one were to run their finger across any aspect of the surface, even the supposed flat portions they would find themselves cut up in a manner similar to sliding flesh across several razor blades that are aligned.* As for surprises I mean things like the blades hidden in my gloves at both the fingertips and the wrist, the three spring loaded blades along the torso of my shirt, the dozen or so extra long senbon I hide in my hair, and the fact that my belt can be turned into a whirling buzz saw of daggers if needs be.

Blaze carefully measures the length and width of the blade, calling out the measurements to Okuni who writes them down.

"Okay, I think we can manage all that. Hold on."

The other Exorcists hang up their weapon designs, all of which are varying degrees of detailed. Blaze's is a detailed schematic of some kind of rifle, Jean's could charitably be called a scribble.

*Meanders over to look over the schematics.* Hm... so this rifle does what I wonder? What kind of ammo is intended for it?

"Hm? That rifle will be able to morph to take any kind of ammunition. When it fires, it will alter the bullet, making it much denser while still retaining it's speed. I could blow down a building with one non-explosive shot if I wanted to~" Blaze says, looking very excited.

Jean's scribble seems to depict a large sword with an especially wide cross guard, making it resemble a crucifix. Lucy's equally bad scribble either looks like two chakrams or an infinity symbol. Okuni's drawing is less technical and more stylized, depicting herself firing a bow and an arrow sticking through an enemy. Written at the bottom is Zaiteki with a translation written under it. "The arrow exists within the target" Logos' drawing simply depicts some kind of long strip of cloth as well as several diagrams of her using it as some kind of projectile.

Nice. Can the rifle also adjust its own size in general for concealment? Err... Lucy, what is your design for exactly? *Has one of those anime sweatdrops on his head looking at the scribble.*

"It can grow and shrink to become a variety of firearms. Part of the whole "shift to accommodate ammo" thing." Blaze says with a nod.

"They're charkrams! They phase though things, but when they do, what they phase though still feels like they were cut. So I won't accidentally kill someone." Lucy says with a nod, like it was obvious.

*Nodding.* I see. Nice touch. Okuni, is this bow doing what I think it is?

"Yes. The moment I fire the arrow, it will appear instantly within the target if it will hit them. It is called Zaiteki." Okuni says, looking rather proud of herself.

I thought so. I've encountered similar weapons before. Almost always effective and tricky for an opponent to deal with. Nice job. *Looks over the cross sword and the cloth.* Anything special about the sword besides probably having holy properties Jean? Logos, is this similar to Seiren of Chronos member X?
