*considers this* Maybe, maybe not. The thing with him was that he was always... unpredictable. He hardly, if ever, does things according to anyone's plan. *to herself* Including mine.

He has a large amount of destructive power, to be sure; I've seen that firsthand. At the least, he'd be an annoying ice cream-eating twit; at the most he'd be an overpowered loose cannon. It all depends on his mood and what he feels like doing.

((OOC: And I guess some of us should be thankful that life in Texas has taken priority for him the last year and a half or so. ))

The silver-haired woman quirks an eyebrow at Mendo's mention of Himitsu, but she doesn't say anything. "Very well. I don't suppose you'd provide me with some means to be in contact with you? It's somewhat inconvenient to have you simply barge into our facility like this, and I'd prefer to give you a more pleasant reception."

The silver-haired woman offers him a slight smile. "Would you have any objections if I made the initial visit to your village, then? I am probably the best suited to opening negotiations such as this," she says, before glancing off to the side with an annoyed expression. "Better so than certain officers," she mutters, before turning her attention back to Mendo. "It is part of my duties as an adjutant to the commander."

"I assume you mean an escort of your own guards?" the woman asks with a faint smile. "I have a feeling you wouldn't permit me an escort of my own soldiers in your village."

She shrugs nonchalantly. "I have no problems with that."

Abel takes Mendo's hand in a firm handshake. At that close proximity, Mendo might notice that the normal flows of chakra he can sense act oddly around her, perhaps cancelled out by a field around her body, or something similar.

The woman pays no heed to it, however, simply giving him a slight nod. "It's in our best interest to try to get along with the other organizations that exist in this world," she says. "Now... as I recall, you mentioned that we had operated in the vicinity of your village, but hadn't provided us with its coordinates yet."

Abel frowns as she studies the map for a moment, and then nods to herself. "I see." She looks to Mendo. "Did you have any preferences as to how I should arrive? It seems most efficient to travel by rotorcraft, but if you have an objection to one of our vehicles being that close to your village, I can make arrangements to be dropped off further away, and to travel there on foot."

*shakes her head* Nah, she's human. She used to be this mutant, a human-sized cat person (we just call them felinoids); but this goddess came along and turned him human by his request. Calli runs this superhero organization and space fleet, but in recent years she's been transferring more and more of her work to her second-in-command. Something about wanting to have a more normal life. *rethinks that* Or as normal as it gets in these parts, I should say.

She's a nice person on the whole... whatever stuff she buys and doesn't use, she gives to someone who would, for instance. But there are a few things to be careful with around her. #1: don't stand between her and an all-you-can-eat buffet. #2: don't stand between her and the nearest shop. And #3: if she ends up in any embarrassing situation involving her body, the person who caused it is going to dearly regret it, if he/she survives the experience.
