Dragon's Library Forbidden Section

[Raleigh]

*Raleigh shrugs as another long day of doing this and that has ended on a sour note. Seems one of his casinos went down with its full vaults when the continent it was on sunk.* I forget to have it moved yesterday. Why did I build one on Atlantis anyway? *He takes a few turns through the giant infinite library that he runs and stops in front of a set of bookshelves that are in the far back of the building. The fact that one can actually see wall above the shelves with no sign of the other end of the library on the horizon indicating how far back he has traveled.* Well, lets tend to yet more business. *He walks through the shelves and into another section of the library. In this section one can find it teaming with people who all look like standard librarians. Some of them even being the various attendants that had been seen out front by others before and some of the people present were now known to also be some of the books contained within.* So, anything to report?

Chinmaya: So far the acquisitions have been proceeding smoothly master. Our agents have managed to trump the British Library as well as that noble to a few rare copies that are being transported as we speak.

Raleigh: No one saw our agents correct? I don't need it known that I run two ninja collectives. This Village Hidden in the Library is to be a trump card should things go unexpectedly. Could you arrange for some of the ladies to find me some very boring and long books that are designed solely to put the reader to sleep?

Chinmaya: The negotiations not going according to plan?

Raleigh: Too early to say.

*...by appearing out of the woodwork, as it were, and ambushing Chinmaya facefirst!*

Hi to both of ya. *jumps off Chinmaya* Everything's cool. Just felt like jumping on somebody, is all. *looks around* Don't think I've been to this part of the library, though.

This is the forbidden section. It contains the most dangerous books I've collected and is sealed off from the general public. That should tell you how dangerous most of the books in here are given that world cracker spell books are out in the open up front. Its also where I'm keeping my secret secondary ninja collective.

*Dirayat and Sophia are busy in the background placing a few scrolls away.*

More of this stuff is creation than destruction but dangerous kinds of it. Things that allow an idiot to create another big bang or in one case a book containing the true names of everything currently in existence. I think you can see how dangerous such tomes could be if not secured.

Ah. Well, I won't touch them. *grooms one paw* I'm content with the abilities I have now.

Now one always has room to get stronger. Then again you do seem to have the full compliment of talents. How would you like to aid in the procurement of such things for this library?

Things that allow an idiot to create another big bang or in one case a book containing the true names of everything currently in existence. I think you can see how dangerous such tomes could be if not secured.

"Yes, it would be quite embarassing if Raleigh's true name was revealed to be Tim..." Utsuko comments, jotting that fact down in her notebook!

Actually my true name is *As his mouth moves it becomes impossible to read his lips, sound vanishes from the entire library so it isn't carried to any ears, and everyone is left with something of a harsh though rapidly fading headache as he chuckles once he stops saying it and everything returns to normal.* Gotta love those protections.

The job will mostly be just retrieval. I don't think you would like being assigned any of them where you have to kill someone or things of that nature so it would mostly be the kind of jobs where you just pop in and take the book and pop out. As you know there are some realms I can't manifest in except in very special circumstances. This set of agents is here to prevent those kinds of circumstances from happening to start with. There might be some trap disabling and dungeon exploring though.
