Can you change your shape? Being a djinni you should be able to do so. Perhaps take your old form.

Unfortunately, changing back to my old self seems to be one of the few things I can't do. Believe me, I would have done that by know if I could.

Not quite no but one of us is close enough. Its considered one of my type classes when I'm scanned.

Hm.. well if you wish I could help restore your old form or at least provide a glamor so they will recognize you.

Don't worry, we won't tell her. *Thinks to himself: Since she is right beside of us.*

I see. Stuff has been that troubling eh? Shall I set to returning you to normal then?

Would it take long at all? *Sireen seems to be ignoring the maid just now.*

Not really but it might sting or pinch a bit. I'll need to reach into your soul to change you since this is again a djinni form and not something lesser. If it had been anything else I could probably have done it with a thought alone but this'll require that level of connection to make the change. Don't worry, it would be a one time only thing.

*The doppleganger's reaction is more or less the same as Raleigh's. The critter jumps on top of the maid's hat to get a better vantage point.*

You're... going to mess with my soul?

Mess with it, no. Its just transmigration. I use it all the time and am very, very good at it. If you prefer I could try to really force the form shift for you but we would probably at least destroy a block of land and it would probably kill me about six times.

Doppleganger: Judging from those shoes, Jeannie, I think your feet need all the support they can get.

*The maid looks up at the doppelganger.* Um... Who are you people, anyway? ...And what happened to my uniform?

Doppleganger: I'm a copy of a kitty, that's a genie over there who's really your boss in disguise, and he's... *thinks for a few seconds* ...um...a really powerful being who can't boil water without turning it into a giant liquid troll. And your uniform, I think, has been swapped.

Aye. So lets just go the simpler route and have you back to normal. Don't worry as I won't do anything weird or what have you.

Actually, Ambush's Doppleganger, the last time I tried to boil water it turned into an amoeba creature that dissolved clothing. Really was quite a hassle to deal with though.
