"Huh... probably a tall story..." He mutters, then looks up. "Ah! Thanks... errr. Whats your name? I'm Jack."

Rick yawned, watching the city pass below him. He looked over at the captain. "Grew up in this city. And the name's Rick."

[Zoey]

The nurse smiles as best she can before nodding. "My name is Anna Sokolov" she said blushing as she brushed some hair behind her ear. "My parents are.... really proud of their heritage" she adds obviously a bit embarrassed. She then closes the lip to the BBQ and enters with Jack sitting on the passengers seat of the truck.

"Well Rick, I suggest you say good bye to this city" says the captain with an eerie tone of voice. "Once operation Sodom starts we will be able to live much more comfortably and hopefully reclaim our country" he says. The other people in the chopper nod and smile as the captain mentions this. "I can't wait to be able to live again without having to worry about becoming a mindless monster" says another crew member.

Rick looks over at the captain, curious. "Operation Sodom...? What's that?" He sits up.

"I'm sorry, I dont really recognize the name..." Jack says... then eats a bit of the cooking. "Anyway... I'm not sure how my parents are doing... they lived up in New York. The last I heard of them before the phone lines went down was to take care of myself. They would try to do the same... and we would meet up back at the family home when all of this blew over. Hopefully..."

[Zoey]

Anna frowns instantly when Jack mentioned New York. "Oh dear... I hope they managed to escape. The big cities were hit the worst you know?" she tells him as he eats. Jack would also find the food quite well cooked too! "Didn't you have like some plan in case something went wrong? Some families do you know" she adds.

One of the pilots turns to Rick. "Its from the Bible... we're going to blow up the cities and all the damned Bimbos in it..." he said with a VERY serious and straight face.

Rick stares back at the pilot. "Whoa. The whole city? When's this supposed to happen?"

"Well I was going to head to Washington DC. Maybe I would meet them there." He shrugs. "And this is really good by the way... your a good cook."

[Zoey]

Anna blushes as Jack compliments her on her cooking. "I had lots of practice..." she says before frowning a bit. "Do you think they have space for more refugee's in DC? I've heard it's pretty full already" she comments.

"Heh, sorry kid, that's as much as we're allowed to talk of to a civilian like you. Still we want our damned country back already" says the pilot before taking his attention back to flying. "Don't worry kid, leave it to the army" says the co-pilot.

Rick sighs. "Right... leave it to the army..." He yawns and leans back, resting his eyes. "I can live with that..."

Jack shrugs. "I haven't heard much. Do you have a better idea, though?"

[Zoey]

Rick would find that he quickly dozes off and when he comes back to he's in a very roughed up looking hospital room filled with patients and nurses tending to the people there. He was still wearing his clothes and he was fine save from some devices checking his vitals and such. A nurse walks up to Rick wearing the normal attire. It was really rare to find a woman who isn't a bimbo thats for sure, but then again maybe he's in civilization? "Ah, you woke up!" she says glancing down at her papers and checking. "Your name?"

"Not really..." replies Anna shifting her gaze, before rubbing her neck. "I don't even know how far we are from there... I'm not good at geography" she says hesitantly. It was then that Jack would notice his stench due to lack of bath!

Jack shrugs. "A days drive, probably more with the roads as they are." At his smell, he hrms... well it is daylight. "I think I'll take a look inside the house there. Maybe they have running water."

Rick groans and sits up. "Wow... I needed that nap..." He takes a quick glance at the devices, then over at the nurse. "E-er... Rick. My name is Rick... how long have I been sleeping? ...And where are we, anyway...?"

[Zoey]

Anna nods. "Maybe, just make sure to have a weapon nearby, but it looks calm around here" she says taking Jack's empty dishes and motions to the house their next to which has both doors and windows missing and it looks like it hasn't been maintained in months, but that's nothing new to see.

"A few hours Rick, and you're in Washington DC" says the nurse motioning outside the window. The once capital city of the USA and great touristic attraction now looks more like a modern military city with large iron walls around the whole thing. Choppers flying overhead and the streets filled with soldiers.
