*M. D. listens carefully, still dusting what she can reach, and risks a look in Circe's direction.*

Yep, that's it.

[Circe]

*Circe is leaning against the wall with her eyes closed. Further down the hall, a maid with light blue hair, apparently the one Circe was talking to, can be briefly glimpsed before she turns a corner.*

*M. D., having dusted as much of the painting's frame that she can reach, contemplates her next move for a few moments. She could just turn back to normal and bother Circe for a bit... or she could try to sneak past and search for any Colors in the other rooms...*

*Mischief wins out over companionship. Looking both ways to make sure she isn't watched, the M. D. morphs back to normal. The mini-fuzzball quietly tries to sneak past Circe while her eyes are closed, attempting to use his feline quietness and stealth to its maximum.*

*Circe sighs and opens her eyes... coincidentally, just as the cat walks past her.* ...You're still here?

Doppleganger: *abruptly freezes and looks up at her, grinning* I never said I was ready to leave. I just sharpened my claws while you kept on going.

[Circe]

Honestly, I was hoping your time would've run out by now...

Doppleganger: Eh, it'll happen sooner or later. The fact that it hasn't happened yet means that I still have enough time to be a nuisance. *sits down on Circe's foot*

[Circe]

Off. *Circe attempts to lift her foot.*

Doppleganger: *clings to her foot* Congratulations; I'm halfway to petting range.

[Circe]

I'm serious. Get off. *Circe shakes her foot.*

[AmbushCat]

Doppleganger: Pet me and I'll leave you alone.

Oh, fine... *Circe sets her foot back down and crouches to pat the clone on the head.*
