Reality Unshift

Imagine that reality is a smattering of things resting on a small rug. It could be a table with some fine china on it, or if it makes your modern sensibilities more comfortable, a TV tray with some microwaved dinner. One tug of the rug would take out out from under everything, leaving it crashing to the floor. They'd still be the same things, but they would be different...barely recognizable as their former selves. Now imagine someone had put the rug back and replaced all the china, or if it makes your modern sensibilities more comfortable, set the tray back up and reheated a new microwave dinner which is very courteous of them, really. But they didn't clean up the mess on the floor in rather poor form, because, really, who can't take the time to clean a floor? So rude....

Anyway, in Muffinville, someone has pulled the rug out from reality. But then they put it back. It doesn't matter who...or maybe it does. But really it doesn't, since they put it back.

Your Arsenal saw its entire tech and weapons wing reappeared, leaving it a magical shop and dining area simply called "Your Arsenal"...again. Inside it, Nathan was standing as his normal self when his 19 year old female form appeared beside him. Carl remained unchanged, still washing down the bar, while Nathan looked around in panic as another him appeared before his eyes.

The Development room outside of town reappeared entirely, and even expanded as the decision to hire new help was made. Finally, the bakery that had formed in the center of town stayed right where it was. Manning it was a woman with a tag on her dress that still read "Julia". To anyone who knew her, she could easily be recognized as Julia Kovacs. But there she was not the woman that the people who knew her knew her to be. But the same woman the people who did know here to be ALSO reappeared in the Development Room looking extremely mad.

Confused? Us too...You have to admit, this is some pretty @*%$ed up stuff going on here.

[Blaze]

Blaze swings by the Development room, carrying a plastic bag full of goodies! Poking her head in, she sees Julia and raises an eyebrow.

"Hi Julia... you okay? SOmething bad happen?"

As for Okuni, she swings by Your Arsenal to see Nathan/get a drink, only to see... two Nathans!

"... what."

Blaze swings by the Development room, carrying a plastic bag full of goodies! Poking her head in, she sees Julia and raises an eyebrow.

"Yes! That little jackass Elliot rewrote me into some kind of...housewife." She fumed. "Turned me into a book and just rewrote me. I'm going to go kick his ass. You wanna come with me?"

As for Okuni, she swings by Your Arsenal to see Nathan/get a drink, only to see... two Nathans!

"Hi mom!" Both Nathan and Natalie said as she came in. The girl brushed her hair.

Nathan began to put two and two together. "Whatever happened to reality must have been undone." He said. "Wonder how that happened..."

"And the result made me appear, since you were a girl before it happened! Now both of us exist in the same continuity!" She said.

[Blaze]

Blaze blinks and takes a BBQ pork bun from the bag she was holding and offers it to Julia.

"Okay, eat something and slow down. Elliot did what now?"

Okuni mearly gets a twitchy eye from this strangeness.

She sat down. "I need whiskey. Anyway...there's this bar. And it has a gateway to this...backstage to reality, or something." She explained. "I got sucked into it with Elliot, and got turned into a book there. A book that had all of my personality and life story in it. So he read me, and learned all of my history on this typewriter that he was offered and turned me into that bakery girl!"

She seemed to have calmed down just slightly having read it.

Okuni mearly gets a twitchy eye from this strangeness.

"Does this mean i have to divide my money?" Nathan moaned. "I hate this already."

"No, no." Natasha said. "It means we have double the money combined. Like your money and mine are put together."

"THEN I LOVE THIS!!" Nathan gushed excitedly. "Wooooonderful!!"

A loud thump sounds through the bar as Okuni bangs her head against the wall.

Blaze listens to Julia's story, her face becoming curiously blank. She takes a massive bite out of the pork bun and devours it!

"Right, bring out the whisky. I think we're gonna need to be kinda drunk and full of food to do this."

"Yeah." She said, grabbing a bottle of whiskey. "The radiation should have faded out of this by now. Want me to get some Coke with it?"

"Does this mean i have to divide my money?" Nathan moaned. "I hate this already."

"No, no." Natasha said. "It means we have double the money combined. Like your money and mine are put together."

"THEN I LOVE THIS!!" Nathan gushed excitedly. "Wooooonderful!!"

A loud thump sounds through the bar as Okuni bangs her head against the wall.

"What's wrong?" The two ask at the same time.

Blaze shakes her head as she puts the bag of food on the table.

"Give it to me straight."

Okuni looks at the two, blood oozing from her forehead.

"THere are two of you and all you can think about is the money you can make?!"

"That's all we ever think about." The two Natahns said.

"Wow, that was something." Nathan said, grinning.

"Yeah. I think we're going to have a great friendship." She said.

"Well, I've never liked anyone as much as myself..." He replied.

Meanwhile....

"Atta girl." Julia said, pooring a couple glasses. "You gonna come with me when I do it?"

[Blaze]

Okuni rolls her eyes.

"Right, we need to differentiate you two somehow. Decide which of you takes a new name."

Blaze nods and takes her glass.

"Damn right."

[Harri-chan]

Elliot... was in the comic book store. It was new comic day, and he'd already been in their for hours. His shoulder length blonde hair was loose, and he wore a white t-shirt with jeans shorts, and sneakers on his feet.

*Meanwhile beyond 'reality'*
Someone didn't bother to sweep up after themselves. *Pulls out a broom and begins to clean up.* And they don't believe me when I say I'm just a glorified maintenance worker. And all this was fine China too... I bet it cost a bit.

Okuni rolls her eyes.

"Right, we need to differentiate you two somehow. Decide which of you takes a new name."

Blaze nods and takes her glass.

"Damn right."

Julia drank from her glass. "Alright...let's go."

Meanwhile...

Nathan looked at his female counterpart.

"I'll be Natasha" She said. "Always liked that name for girl me."

[Blaze]

Blaze downs her own glass in one gulp and nods.

"Yeah..."

Okuni nods and smiles.,

"There, that makes things easier."

[A wandering Red headed girl]

Meanwhile, a red haired woman stumbles into the development room, her hair wildly disheveled, a manic look in her eyes. She can be beard mumbling something under her breath..." how can it be...how can it be..."
