Sudden Appearance

[Harri-chan]

"Blah blah, blah blah... ", mumbled Elliot, tossing the empty can into the trash. "Do you know how boring you people are talking about all this other dimension stuff? Hotsprings...see, you could have just said that at the start!", he sighed dramatically, tossing aside a child's ballet costume before pulling out a pair of pale blue swim shorts. "Watch Raleigh at the hotsprings, make some notes... that's all you needed to say". Grabbing a white t-shirt, he held it up before sighing when he realised it was for a girl, and tossed it back down, instead grabbing a black one with a rock band across the chest.

Stripping off the pink cotton pajamas revealed... a pair of panties beneath, white silk ones with a little pink bow on the front. He then tugged on the black t-shirt and frowned at Kirei, "I used to change a lot... it was cheaper to just buy one lot of underwear... nobody ever sees it anyway", he mumbled, using the cover of the shirt to tug down the panties, and replace them with the swim shorts.

[Raleigh]

Kirei: The notes I got didn't say you were that much of a cross dresser. You sure you aren't asking people to turn you into a young girl most of the time? Bah, what does that matter at the moment. Come on now and get dressed and get on location.

[Harri-chan]

A frown swept over Elliot's face, "Why would I ask for that? And it's not like it even happens that often... these things are old... ", he mumbled, pulling on a pair of flip flops to complete the outfit, before grabbing a laptop bag from under a pile of comics, and slipped the strap over his head. "I spent a very long time going to work every day as a girl... that kind of thing does weird stuff to you".

[Raleigh]

Kirei: Then find something to help keep you at least masculine. I'm sure there is some fruit or something for that. Now get. He'll be at the Glaurung Hot Springs shortly.

[Harri-chan]

"What's that supposed to mean? How will fruit help with that?, asked the androgynous boy with a confused expression on his face. He shook his head and didn't even wait for a reply, heading out, tossing his keys into the laptop back and making his way down to the ground floor of the apartment block and into the street.

Around half an hour later, he arrived at the hotsprings, looking rather glum as he wandered about, searching for signs of activities.

[Raleigh]

*Once Elliot arrives he will already likely hear Raleigh inside conversing with some of the various staff that work with Katy about maintaining the place and keeping the guests comfortable. He might also hear, in lower tones, Raleigh asking to check the info in the guest book. Might be best he sneaks into one of the back rooms that are for employee's only. Time for him to find a disguise. Perhaps the laundry room might help.*

[Harri-chan]

Hearing Raleigh's voice, he lingered for a moment, before heading through a door marked staff only. Once inside, he pulled out his laptop, and opened it up on a counter, creating a file which began with the header...

Observing Raleigh - Day 1.

Nodding to himself, he then started to look around the staff area, finding the laundry room, oddly enough. Flipping open one of the baskets, he started to check inside for possible disguises. "He's probably creating a whole new universe right at this moment... ", he muttered, attempting to mock Kirei's tone as he searched.

[Raleigh]

*What luck for Elliot. He has found all the makings of a good maid costume. Who would have predicted that in this terribly contrived sitcom like situation?*

*Raleigh is reading over the info in the books.* So you made sure to record their names and ages. Good good. *He pulls out his own small notebook which on the cover reads "Fate Note".* Heh... *He begins to record their names down as a form of memorization technique while he reviews each person's fate to know what tricks and techniques they may have and how close any of them are to dying. He also is reviewing how likely any of them would willingly sign up with him to avoid that death.*

[Harri-chan]

Elliot lays out the pieces of the maid uniform, and frowns, looking down at his swim shorts, and then back at the uniform. "Really... ? Maids in a place like this?". He sighed. Moments later, he was back at the laptop, now wearing the dress, apron, socks and shoes of the uniform as he typed out a brief summary of how the mission had started. Setting the password protection on, he left the changing room, and wandered back out, armed with a broom, and began to sweep the floors, slowly moving in the direction of Raleigh's voice, his eyes narrowing as he overheard the conversations. "Ages? Why would that matter... ".

[Raleigh]

*Since the hot springs are inside of an inn it isn't so unusual for there to be some cleaning people. Elliot, as he walks around, might notice that most of the staff is in yukatas though. Surely they must employ maids or else there would be no reason for the maid outfit to be in there, right?*

One of the catgirl registry girls: Sir, why do we record the age anyway?
Raleigh: To make sure I know its the correct person. Lots of names are the same but the age reduces the likely hood of duplicates or confusion. Good thing I enchanted this paper to display their real names too. I always hear about people signing in as movie characters.

[Harri-chan]

(I never knew that This is why frequent descriptions of surroundings are good *goes to lookk up yukatas*)

Elliot couldn't believe his luck as a female voice asked the very question he'd been pondering! He kept out of sight of Raleigh, continuing to listen in on the conversation. Unfortunately, the answer didn't really enlighten him as to what Raleigh was plotting. "She could have atleast told me some specifics of what I was meant to find out... ", he muttered. Sneaking a little closer, he risked leaning his head around a corner to take a look.

[Raleigh]

((The location is well established with about three threads or so in the past so I forget that some people don't know what it looks like.))

*Inside of Elliot's head.* Vulpina: Anything that looks like he is seeking even more power than he has for purposes of upsetting his own fate or ours. Its already speculated he has found a way around his final death and we suspect he will eventually go crazy and kill the rest of us. We want you to monitor him for setting such things in motion.

Raleigh: Hm.. well then I guess I might as well go take a dip while I'm here. Please prepare me some snacks for when I finish. After this I'm going to Azhdahā tattoos to check up on what clients Kusari has had. Need to find out if anyone has gotten anything interesting or recommended something new to her.

[Harri-chan]

Startled by the voice in his head, Elliot ducked back around the corner and pressed himself up against the wall, his eyes darting around... finding no sight of Vulpina. It took a moment, but eventually he realised she was speaking in his head. "Can you... hear me?", he asked hesitantly, trying to keep track of Raleigh's conversation while at the same time attempting to talk with his new boss.

[Raleigh]

Vulpina: Yes. You can just think to me by the way. I was listening in once you mentioned 'she could have told me what to listen to'.

*Raleigh stands up and walks out into the same hallway that Elliot is in but seems to not see him for the cat girl attendants that are directing him toward the springs.*

[Harri-chan]

Elliot quickly lowers his head and resumes sweeping the floor with his mop as Elliot walks through the hallway, waiting until he'd passed before peeking up. 'Does... this really work?', he thought. 'If it does... what's the deal with sending that lady to my apartment so early?!'. He started to sweep a little faster, working his way along behind Raleigh as the cat girls directed him.
