A Tale Of Magik

[Zoey]

Dact's ferocious lightning storm, starts to generate heat. Enough so, that the arm lets go and Dact can see it started to melt. However that little stunt, would leave the knight a bit winded out. As he moves out of the way, the ground starts to shake and turn to mud trying to suck the knight in!

The Exorcists run, but so do the golems give chance. Soon enough both grounds are dashing along the ruined streets of the city, like a car chase on legs. "At this rate, they'll catch up!" exclaims Mima looking back as the golem's look like gorrilas jumping and running through the streets behind the exorcists. Their voiceless cold stares just glow with the yellow earth elemental energy that fuels them, their desire to destroy the girls very evident.

The girl smiles as she listens to Raleigh, not sure if he was bluffing or not. However her stare said, she really didn't care. "Hehe" she chuckled as she brushed some of her black locks behind her ear. "I just wanted to know how little you really know about the world around you" she says looking up into the sky. "I don't blame you, that once travel like this is discovered. Those same beings to start to take it for granted..." she says almost staring off into the sky.

[Raleigh]

*In an exact match for the bunny girls voice repeats her lines.*

That isn't even a cohesive statement. Make sense if you would please unless you are trying to elaborate that this world makes it so words aren't coherent. I must assume you are saying something to the effect that once travel of some sort, I again assume you mean from world to world, some beings, I again assume those traveling, take something for granted. What they take for granted is still unsaid. If you are meaning to say I have no powers here that is obviously untrue. For that matter if there was no magic here I wouldn't even be present as I can't exist in a null magic area without preparation first. I have played nice and sat here to listen to what you have to say but if you wish to speak in a manner that makes Yoda's comprehension of English seem spot on I am going to go and pester the knight or follow more directly with the exorcists.

Or you are driving at there is a different nature of power here which might be the aim. *He chuckles.* Do tell, show me the wonders of whatever natural power exists 'solely' within this mere universe.

Then again it could be that this whole 'world' is actually the projection, spell construct, or even true physical form of our target and as such is acting as a singular being to oppose us and as such we are collectively stuck facing a truly hostile world on all levels. Meh, if that is the case I've done that before... both sides of it.

[Blaze]

Logos turns around and watches the golems chasing them with a frown.

"I say we make a last stand. If we just run, they'll catch us eventually."

Blaze sighs and nods, looking at Mima.

"Is there an easily defended area around here?"

[Knight Errant]

Dact frowns. "Not a break..." He says, firing a grappling hook to wrap around a stone collumn... hauling himself away from the mud!

[Zoey]

The bunny girl chuckles. "You sure like to be wordy, don't you?" she says with a grin as she looks at Raleigh with a fascinating look. "It's like you said I do mean by travel" she said correcting her posture. "And I'm not saying you lack power, on the contrary my friend I do know your quite the being to reckon with..." she adds crossing her fingers between hands and resting her head on them. "However... and I'm going to spoil this for you. You don't exactly have home field advantage here and neither do you associates".

Mima looks as worried as she looks back at the Golems. "The underground subway. If we make a stand there they could only fight 2 at a time since their so big!" replies Mima. "And since we're way smaller I think we could be-EEEEEK!" she shreaks as a car flies over head and misses them. The golems growl in frustration. As they continue their way west the most magically inclined of the Exorcists may feel something weird going on with some energies.

Dactylos manages to climb out of the mud! However the stone column starts to melt! "Heh, you're in my domain, Dactylos. There's no saving you here!" says the woman, her voice echoing on the cavern as the mud pit below turns into a pool of stone spikes!

[Raleigh]

Ah that is true. Then again I'm used to that issue. In order for me to have the home field advantage we would have to be within Chaos itself, Eden, or on one of the spiritual planes and that is pressing it. I do admit I seem to have diarrhea of the mouth at times and even I find it annoying but what can you do about an ingrained character flaw without a complete personality over write?

[Knight Errant]

Dact looks below. "..." He falls to merciless gravity! Becoming bloodily impailed! He is the deads! Or... is he? As with a small explosion and some smoke a sign appears where he was, reading "This is not the Knight your looking for."

Meanwhile. Dact appears over by the thundering waterfall. Digging into his pack until he comes out with a vial of deep blue liquid. "Right... I think I need some backup." He pours it into the water! Which begins shifting and surging!

[Blaze]

Blaze nods, having no magical talent to speak of!

"Lead the way Mima. Quickly."

THe others meanwhile, start looking confused as their ability to do impossible things start leaving them!

"Y-Yes, please do." OKuni says, sounding unsure of herself for the first time.

[Zoey]

Mima motions with her arms to follow. "This way!" she shouts as she makes a sharp left on the corner of the block and continues down the road. The golems keep chasing becoming dangerously close. The next block to the right would produce a subway way entrance! Mima quickly stopped at the entrance and urged her new allies through. "Hurry, Hurry, go, go go!" she exclaims as she harnessed some of her energy to slow the golems advance with her attacks. The entrance to the subway was very standard but the lights were all out and there was no sound of anyone down there. However as Mima had said the way was narrow and as soon as the last exorcist made it through she ran after them. Soon enough the girls were now a picture resemblance of the spartans pass as the golems crashed into each other trying to go in all at the same time. The exorcists felt a bit tired and what power they could muster was just enough for them to perform one last stand...

The chamber is quite as Dact pours his vial. Soon though the earth starts to shake but he notices it doesn't have much affect on the area close to the waterfall. Stone pillars erupt from the ground and like towers they start shooting rock bullets at the knight, their height decreasing with each shoot.

The bunny girl chuckles. "I hope you don't try to pick up woman with the line 'I do admit I seem to have diarrhea of the mouth at times'" she says with a grin. "Though, if that was true, I'd love to see it, Mr. demigod" she adds rubbing her chin curiously at Raleigh.

[Raleigh]

Nothing to worry about then. I don't try to pick up anyone. Already had a wife once and she died. Not exactly interested in similar happening again. *Decides to let the whole demigod thing slide since it would just be a waste of breathe since no one ever listens to that part.*

[Blaze]

The Exorcists runs down the stairs down to the dark subway! Upon reacing the bottom, they stand shoulder to shoulder, facing up at the golems trying to comes down and getting stuck together, Three Stooges style!

That's when they attack. Mustering the last of their energy, they attack using mundane methods. Blaze fires at their seals, Jean sends her bladed rosaries flying at them, unaided by holy power. Okuni fires her bow and Logos hurls throwing knives. Lucy, who's fighting style is purely supernatural can't do anything! D:

[Knight Errant]

Dact dives into the water! As what comes out... are large water elementals. Which surge off in each direction... blasting the cave surface with jets of water!

[Zoey]

The elementals start blasting the place with water, making the rock and ground muddy. Quickly the woman FINALLY makes her precessence known as she phases through the roof and goes to strike Dact with her broadsword. "You little pest!" she says about to hit the water with her blade.

The blasts all collide with the golems and yes! They destroyed... 3! Leaving 3 golems standing and all the exorcists powers depleted! Mima herself was exhausted after she added her own attack to the combo. The golems walked out of the debris and one captured Mima, crushing her with its grip. The others charged at Blaze punching her with tremendous might to the wall and other close lining both Okuni and Logos! The golems attacks hit hard and a scece of dread started to fill the chamber. The girls where out of tricks and the golems could only be killed by using their powers which they lost... It also didnt help the room was dark.

The bunny girl grins. "Why did she die? If I may ask? Her husband being reckless?..." she says rubbing her chin staring intently at Raleighs responce.

[Blaze]

Blaze is distracted by Mima getting grabbed and is punched! She hits the wall hard and slumps to the floor, groaning softly. Logos attempts to block the golem's arm, but is still bowled over, hitting the ground hard. Okuni hasn't the energy to even attempt that and is knocked to the ground, not moving.

Jean calls out to her comrades and pushes her tired muscles to the limit, swinging her rosary at the golems! However, the swings are slow and clumsy, unlikely to do much. Lucy can only try to be a distraction, unable to do anything!

[Raleigh]

She died thanks to barbarous weak minded individuals who couldn't accept something unusual near them and her husband being stuck incarnated as a weak little human several dimensions away. I admit it was perhaps stupid of me to not make her immortal regardless of her wishes but she should have lived for a good few hundred years at least before they killed her. She was a fighter though. It took almost an entire village to take her down.
