Hanging Out..

[Vomica]

Merah relaxes with having Elliot close, glancing up at the boy... she gives a bit of a nod "...yep! I'm all set!" She glances back at Alan, "...h-how is that not stalking? And she is not my girlfriend, okay?" The girl blushes heavily, "...i-it's... can we not bring up feelings?"

[Harri-chan]

Elliot tried to give Merah his best comforting look as she glanced up at him, and he reached across to gently take her hand, "We're just friends, okay?", he said with a slight frown towards Alan. "Merah was explaining something from science class that I didn't understand, when you interrupted us... ".

[Vomica]

The girl pauses for a moment, and lets her hand be taken. Placing her smaller hand in the boy's, the teenager turns a good bright red. Turning back to Alan, she nods "Right! Just some stuff about the fundamental principles and stuff. You know!"

[Harri-chan]

Elliot gave Merah's hand a gentle, reassuring squeeze, "C'mon, let's go shopping", he suggested, his blue eyes drawn to her red cheeks. The more he knew he couldn't think of her -that- way, the stronger the feelings seemed to get. Her hand was so soft, and she even had a wonderful smell that didn't come from any of those nasty manufactured perfumes that most girls at school seemed to wear.

Merah smiles warmly up at him, "...alright! And we can find you some cute clothes or something, alright?" The girl walks off, leading the way. She's pretty oblivious to any body language he has! It is hard to read when, you know, your mind is on other things. Like how awesome that ice cream was!

[Harri-chan]

Elliot smiled and nodded his head, "Sure... but I thought of a question", he said, still holding her hand as they walked along the street. "So... beige kinda has it's own world, right? And it's trying to invade this one. Well... since I had my incident, I think beige has changed. They wiped out the Sand Academy... and I'm pretty sure most of those touched by beige got killed", he said, looking rather troubled at that. "And now beige doesn't turn people into schoolgirls anymore... but... even after it got changed, it still affected me in the old way... so now me and Ellie probably are one of only a few with traces of the old beige inside... ".

Merah pauses at that, and frowns. Her brow furrows as well, "...y-yeah... I know... and all of them were pretty innocent and harmless." The girl tenses up, and leans into Elliot for a moment "...you and Ellie are... but that doesn't mean you're alone. Or different." Saying after a moment, "...notice how Blue can make maids, but other things as well? It's a variant... based on the context. All it really is now is that there is no more 'girl's school' context for Beige. ...I think."

The thirteen year old glances up to look at Elliot, "...but whatever might be the case. At least you're here."

[Harri-chan]

As he felt her lean into him, he gently released her hand, and instead placed a comforting arm around her small shoulders. "I'm not saying it's bad... and I don't feel alone... well, not for that reason anyway. I just thought it was interesting that the old beige is living on in us, even if all the beige energy back in it's home dimension got altered... ", he said, and then frowned slightly, "Does that make sense? I'm not smart like you... ".

[Vomica]

Merah peeks up at him, "...you're smart in ways that I'm not..." She pauses for a second, and says "...but that kinda makes sense! I can see that happening. ...I mean I haven't looked into anything like that yet but..." She relaxes once more from the arm wrap, smiling once more the girl responds "...and don't beat yourself up."

[Harri-chan]

"You know, I think if it wasn't for you, this would be a whole lot harder. When it first started happening... I freaked out a little, but then I thought about you, and how happy you are. I figured I should just kinda embrace it too", he said, lowering his voice a little, the streets getting busier as they got closer to the shopping district. "Where should we start?".

[Vomica]

Merah glances back at Elliot, "...embrace it? I... I guess I have, huh? But... what is my other choice? Abandon my sisters? ...they were there for me when I first got here! They took me in and..." She smiles at Elliot after a second, "...we should start at ooooh... the year is getting late... maybe pick up some cute jackets?"

[Harri-chan]

Elliot's smile fades a little as he listens to Merah talking about her sisters. "I guess I don't know what it's like, having someone like that. I suppose Julia was the closest... but I made a right mess of that one. She won't even speak to me anymore", he sighed, before brightening up again as she suggested looking for jackets. "Great idea".

[Vomica]

Merah frowns at that, "...yeah... ...that can happen. ...even in a stable world. People change, relationships can change because of that. ...even on a normal plane... you weren't the same person you were yesterday, were you? A week ago? A year? A decade?" She smiles at Elliot, "...we all need to make due with the time we have and how they are! Live for today, but prepare for tomorrow. You know?"

Pausing at that, "...mind if your jacket is kinda girly~?"

Following her question about wether he minded if the jacket was 'kinda girly', his blue eyes glanced around at the crowds that surrounded them, before a little grin spread across his lips, "Nope", he said proudly. "If you think it fits, I'll try anything", he said. "You know way more about how to dress like a girl this age than I do".

[Vomica]

Merah drags Elliot into one of the nearby stores! It's one of those more 'hip' clothing store chains, with the pop music playing over the radio and all the employees being in their mid twenties -- at the latest. The girl responds to Elliot, "...that's both because of experience and... well the Red does influence my thoughts a bit!" She giggles, as she goes over the denim jackets~
