Spiral Labs

[Circe]

Those who feel the pull will feel the urge to head inside the cave! Thankfully, previous investigators have got floodlights set up, so they can find their way.

At the back of the cave is a metal door that has been forced open. Around it are cave paintings depicting some kind of large creatures in different colors.

...Guess no one wants to say "hi"... *Circe enters the cave and looks through the door.*

[Maiden Miki]

"Hmm...." said Mike as he began to walk deeper into the cave. He kept his aura sense on alert in order to see if there was anybody else inside it. "Wonder what is going on here?"

Maki felt the tug and just sighed as she walked into the cave.

[Vomica]

Merah waves around to anyone she hasn't greeted yet! She sticks close to Elliot, and says "...of course! Of course!" The girl stays by his side -- hovering around him... but still glancing around.

The other sister, Blair, stays by Dact -- not exactly looking warm to him. She at least flashes him a smile. Turning to regard Feng, the Blue woman gives a nod "..that is the plan at least."

[Harri-chan]

Elliot looked back to see Blair hanging around beside Dact, and gave Merah a little grin. "I think your sister likes him... ", he whispered, before leading the younger girl through the metal door. "So what do you think this is all about? It felt like that time I got drawn to some kind of experiment Raleigh was doing with beige. I was walking home from the comic book store one day, and for some reason decided to go completely out of my way... ended up coming across it. You think the colour energies are involved here?", he asked, having failed to notice the cave paintings, as he was too distracted by Merah herself.

[Blaze]

And so the intrepid explorers enter the lab! Within are a bunch of tables with machine parts scattered on them. More paintings are on the wall, these a bit more technical than the ones around the door. They seem to depict the assembly of some kind of bipedal machine.

At the back of the room is another, larger door! This one shows signs of attempts to open is. Scorch marks, scratches and the like, but it remains closed. Next to it is a circular pad with a hole in the center, one that could maybe fit a finger...

[Maiden Miki]

Eventually Mike and Maki enter the lab. They both stared at each other for a long time until Mike spoke, "You felt something too?"

"Yes. I did, said Maki as she looked up at Mike.

"Knocked out Don?" asked Mike.

"Yes," said Maki as she looked around the lab. The pair then stopped in front of a large door. Mike at once inspected it and ran a finger on it to touch the burnt parts.

[KonokoHasano]

"Ritsu probably would have found real interest in this." Usagi muttered, walking over to Mike and Maki. "Hey."

[Maiden Miki]

"Ritsu probably would have found real interest in this." Usagi muttered, walking over to Mike and Maki. "Hey."

"Hey there Usagi. Your mom not here?" asked Mike as he pause from inspecting the door. He seem to have his finger on where he thinks would be where space between the frame and door is.

"Hello.....I am guessing you sensed something here?" asked Maki as she looked at Usagi.

[Chris Thorn]

The copper sphere shuddered a little as an aperature opened and panels swung out to the sides. The aperature shrank and grew as if it were a camera focusing. The side panels revealed three tiny apendages, which extracted from the sphere. The tripod of legs turned the softball sized sphere in a circle. After the rotation it quickly followed the group into the Lab itself.

[Circe]

Hm... *While Mike pokes at the door frame, Circe examines the circular hole next to the door.* Anyone feel stupid enough to stick an extremity in here?

[Knight Errant]

Dact nods to the person controlled by Feng. "Exploration is the aim, yes." He says, heading inside and looking around!

"Huh... looks like someone gave up..." He says, nodding to the door.

[Lola]

Hm... *While Mike pokes at the door frame, Circe examines the circular hole next to the door.* Anyone feel stupid enough to stick an extremity in here?

Lola appears next to Circe, giggling darkly. "Oh I think I can give that a try..." She says, extending a finger to press the small circular depression thing!

[Blaze]

As Lola bravely inserts her finger, the pad around the hole lights up! green bars emanate from the hole in the center in a spiral shape and the door opens! Beyond it a simple platform with guard rails.

Between the group and the platform is a shimmering green field. No prizes for guessing what might happen should someone who is not Lola try to cross!

[Feng]

The as-of-yet unnamed spelunker follows Dact inside just in time to see Lola stick her finger into the socket.

"Okay... That is one way to solve a door puzzle."

He peers inside the doorway at the green field and shudders.

"Yeah, I ain't going in there... I happen to value my brains" -.- he mutters, backing away before turning to the inscriptions on the wall...

[Lola]

Lola chuckles. "Well I guess I win..." She says, heading further in!
