The Human Centipede came out a year ago, and it's really, really disgusting.

They are coming out with the sequel, the Human Centipede 2 (Full Sequence). The evil mad scientist from the 1st movie kidnaps 12 people for his most outlandish, vilest experiment ever; creating the ultimate human centipede. Its in black and white.

Actually, it's not the scientist from the first movie, since (spoiler) He dies at the end. Though, since the synopsis I read says the guy doing the experiments this time is doing it after seeing the first movie, it's possible the actor who played the scientist is in the new one.

Edit: Color of spoiler is for anyone who doesn't wanna read it. Just in case.

I'm unsure about ever seeing the second one, though, since it's supposed to be way more graphic than the first.

According to wikipedia, the 2nd Centipede movie has the woman from the 1st movie (the lone survivor of the 1st experiment) being targeted by a deranged fan of the last movie. The main villain of the 2nd movie saw the 1st Centipede movie and became obsessed with it. He even kills his mother when she attempts to get him help for his obsessive behavior.

The Raven (April 27).

Set in 1830's Baltimore, Maryland, the famed poet Edgar Allen Poe is asked to help the police uncover a madman and obsessed fan's plot to reenact all of Poe's famous murders depicted in his poems (Tell Tale Heart, Pit and the Pendulum, Murders of the Rue Morgue, etc.).

A horror movie forum? Sounds like my kind of forum. But it looks kinda idle...

Any films favorite horror films in what you consider the 'golden age' of horror films? Personally, I can't shake off the black and white universal films and their greatness, my favorite being the invisible man in 1933. Then there's also the hammer films, which are great. :D

And the Geoerge Romero Zombie movies that spawned many remakes. The hilarious comedy Shaun of the Dead, Dance of the Dead aka Rave of the Dead. Night of the Living Dead part 1 and 2. Day of the dead dealt with survivors heading to a mall and being pursued by flesh eating zombies.

It was Night of the Living Dead series that introduced brain eating zombies. They capture one of the creatures who claims that they eat brains to stave off the pain of death. The Jim Henson comp\any created the Tar Man zombie (unleashed from a military canister by the older man and his younger apprentice. The older man and his younger friend are exposed to the toxic chemicals and become zombies. The older man burns himself at the crematorium, rather than shambling off to feast on brains, while the younger zombie goes after his girlfriend. The remaining survivors call the military for help, while the owner of the crematorium and the girl barricade themselves in the attic of the crematorium to avoid the younger zombie (the boyfriend of the female lead). That series also had the eerie quote, "Send more Paramedics".

A Movie called Possession is coming out at the end of the month. It's about this girl who becomes possessed by a disembodied spirit called a dibbuk. The Dibbuk was sealed in an antique box with some strange markings, but the girl's behavior after buying the box at a yard sale becomes more erratic as the Dibbuk threatens to devour the girl's soul and take complete control of her body.
