".... Where did you get that?" asks Bones, a longing look on his face as he tries to mask the stench with a Chibiwanbanshu breathing mask (standard issue)!

Blaze chuckles, the sound rather distorted through the mask. She produces another and offers it!

"Here. I have several spare tanks so don't worry about conserving the oxygen."

"This place is a maze of hidden passageways and dead ends" replies Bones, grabbing a lamp. "Many have gotten lost among the empty hallways, slowly going mad from the experience until either death, or something far worse, comes to collect them."

He holds up a manuscript.

"Lucky for us, I've got a cheat book!"

Please tell me you weren't seriously thinking of using explosives. The market is practically built on top of these passages. You'll surely kill us and those above!

"Stay close" says Bones, as he heads down south coming to a symbol of a red fan. "If possible, try not to make a peep once we've pass through. These aren't Chikuza mooks who choose to dwell here..." O_o

Bones presses an image of the fan, revealing a hidden passageway. Motioning with his lantern, Bones enters, signaling for Blaze to follow.

The two enter a long narrow passageway that twists through the forgotten corners of the Chibi Market's sewers. The colorful lamps that serve as a guidepost in the sewers have been replaced by macabre ones made out of human and chibi skulls.

"This place is one of many gathering points for Sorcerers in this city," whispers Bones explaining the surroundings. "Every so often they will congregate in these tunnels to discuss plans and swap trade secrets as well as try to appeal to fallen guardians, those that have become corrupt by uncleanliness."

After a while the two come across a image of a large red snake shaped into the infinity sign.

"Ah, its been a while since I've seen that symbol..." he mumbles to himself. "How curious..."

Blaze looks at the skulls with a frown.

"I take it that Chibi Sorcerers aren't very friendly?"

Upon arriving at the symbol, Blaze chuckles.

"A modified Oroborous. What does it mean?"

"Oh they can be quite amiable sometimes, as long as you are a Chibi anyways. They're not too found of humans or other surface dwellers though," says Bones as he hoists the lantern closer to the symbol so that Blaze can get a better look.

"What you are gazing at is the sign of the Red Serpent Society, a mythical cabal of sorcerers whose skill of manipulating the weave is second to none. Legend states that their abilities are so refined that they can affect entire cities with their craft, bringing entire ecosystems to life while simultaneously bringing vast civilizations into ruin and obscurity."

He points to the snake.

"The snake is an important animal in Chibi folklore, representing both knowledge, shadow, and mystery. The fact that is shaped into the Oroborous is perhaps a boast proclaiming that these individuals have obtained unparalleled degrees of power over the Dream Realm."

Bones lowers the lantern.

"Fortunately for us, there is little evidence to suggest that this group exists outside of the tales of grandmothers trying to have their grandchildren eat their vegetables. That doesn't stop some sorcerers from adopting the sigil in an effort to strike fear in their enemies."
