Reincarnate Yourself Today!

One of those trendy shops-that-weren't-there-yesterday shops opens in Muffinville! It's wooden with frosted windows and a sign over the door that identifies it as "Reincarnationery"

Those who would venture inside would find a boy with wings carving some kind of complex magical circle on the ground using a large golden compass to do so.

[WARNING: If you like the change you get in this thread and want to make it universal, you can't just assimilate it as another form. As a side effect, your character will lose any other forms they can shift into, but retain some of the skills they had in the form they entered in.]

[Knight Errant]

Dact peeks into the odd shop. "Hello?" He says, curious to see what this is about!

[KonokoHasano]

A tall, elderly man walks on in. He wore a rather nice suit and hat, and carried what appeared to be a finely crafted cane in his hand. Upon his face was a trimmed white mustach, and though he looked to be rather fit and healthy, his eyes showed the look of a world-weary person.

It was Jerona Delpho~

He looked around the place in curiosity before looking at Dact for a moment. Recognizing him, he bowed his head a bit in greetings.

[Feng]

Xiang, AKA the "Snakeman", meanders into the shop driven by a sense of curiosity that simply had to be sated. For once his 'skin condition' appears to have been cured (if only temporarily) and he could almost pass for human, if one with hairless, smooth skin.


"Whatsss this?" he says, tongue flickering out, before noticing the Knight (a good afternoon snack perhaps?) and the well-dressed mustachioed gentleman (Blegh! Too bitter!) . "Reincarnationery? This wouldn't happen to involve pain would it? I detest pain..."

[Miku-chan]

Young Alan Densforth enters, curious about what is happening in the shop...Does anyone know what the sign means out front?" he asks before seeing the boy on the floor carving away...

[Blaze]

The boy finishes his carvings as the giant compass transforms into the golden key seen in the picture. He gives the four a smile.

"Hello, and welcome to the Reincarnationery. Do you feel your life could have gone better? Have you become as strong as you can be, but want to become even stronger than that? Here, you can reincarnate yourself into a new form! My name is Yama and I will be your reincarnator today."

[Feng]

Xiang flicks his tongue in a snakelike manner, choosing not to answer the question.

"You are Yama?" he inquires, giving the boy a skeptical look. "But you don't look like a judge of the underworld..." =_=

His tongue senses some more as he tries to 'smell' the boy's chi.

"The again, physical appearancesss can deceive~!"

[KonokoHasano]

"Hello, and welcome to the Reincarnationery. Do you feel your life could have gone better? Have you become as strong as you can be, but want to become even stronger than that? Here, you can reincarnate yourself into a new form! My name is Yama and I will be your reincarnator today."

"Hmm..." Jerona considers this as he looks around. "I do feel as if I could have chose my path better, that what I did in life was the wrong decisions. I caused others to suffer for my goals, and even though my intentions -- at the heart of it all -- were meant to try and better things, I screwed up more than I should have."

He gives a bow to Yama.

[Miku-chan]

"I thought Yama was a smaller boy with a pasifier in his mouth? And what do you mean by getting stronger? Mom and dad won't let me do anything unrelated to getting smarter." Alan asks.

[Knight Errant]

"The... what?" Says Dact, not sure what he is hearing.

[Blaze]

Yama rolls his eyes.

"I'm not. I call myself Yama because it gives me cred. Apparently a young boy in spectacles isn't very awe-inspiring."

He returns Jerona's bow. To Xiang, his chi smells simultaneously sweet and bitter!

"Need a clearer explanation? Okay. When you're reincarnated, you lose some of your skills and any alternate form you might have. However, you aptitude to learn grows, so with hard work you'll return to the level of ability you were at before you were reincarnated, and then exceed that level!"

[KonokoHasano]

Jerona laughs a bit. "Well, I can't say that I'm much of a strong person physically, but perhaps it would be a good thing all around."

[Feng]

Mr. Snakeman savors Yama's flavor before nodding.

"I see~! I'm familiar with this procedure, having heard of it before..." he says with a snakelike grin. "My curiosity is piqued!"

[Knight Errant]

Dact looks intrigued! "I do say I've very nearly pushed the limits of what a body is capable to the max... it would be nice to feel a return to a time where my skills were still growing..."

[Blaze]

Yama beams and taps his key on the ground to get everyones attention.

"Now! This is a service, and every service has it's price. I have no set price, but the more you pay me, the more conditions I'm willing to add to your reincarnation. Want to forget something? I can do that. Reincarnate into a form that will allow you to atone for your sins? I can do that too. Make you you retain some part of you like a tattoo or birthmark? That too... but all for a price."
