She could have done so much by forming a union with the heir to the throne of the entire Kingdom, but now she would not be getting that, and was seemingly on the verge of losing her own order. However, seeing the reaction to her comment made her smile. Finally, something that had her slightly nervous.
"That's why you're making me your daughter. You need an heir... but you don't want to be with a man", she explained, looking a little smug now, despite being just six years old and in a pretty green dress. She sat up on her knees on the bed, red curls trailing down over her shoulders, her little hand reaching out to try and gently turn the Princess' face back to her. "Yet you still had Rose do this to me, even after the kiss. I guess I wasn't your type... but I wonder if I can figure out who is... ".

Nevrina bowed her head slightly as Krystal's transformation into Rose was completed, leaving the beautiful Seductress a little taller than before, but just as enchanting. "I understand, Mistress... ", she murmured in a calm voice, as her fingers softly stroked through Caileanne's blonde hair, although the child had soon left her side, rushing to Rose to hug her around the waist, her fingers grasping at the familiar red dress.
Heulwen nodded to the taller woman, "Very well... you kept your end of the deal... so I'll keep mine". The Paladin turned and walked back to her desk, where she unrolled a sheet of paper, and took a quill, to begin writing out names. Nevrina still looked a little uneasy at the dismantling of everything Ginny had built, despite her clear loyalty to the Demoness. "Mistress... ", she spoke, again in that quiet purr of a voice. "What will become of those who... don't willingly join you?", she asked, her white eyebrows arching above her green eyes.
The Princess's cheeks are still blushed, as her head is gently turned to look at the little girl. She looks uncomfortable as she speaks, before replying as she goes quiet. "Its not that I didn't like you... but... you were going to try to undo everything I had done. I had to stop you. But I didnt want you hurt..."

Rose smiles down at Caileanne, patting her head.
"Such a good girl." She looks up at Heluwen and Nevrina. She smiles wider.
"Ah... the fun part. For those that will not serve willingly, we will have them serve unwillingly. Well initially. Soon they will be quite happy to serve..." She looks at Nevrina.
"I've left some of myself in you... with it is my power. Embrace it... and use it in my name to convert those who would stand in our way."
As she says that, Nevrina can feel a stirring within her... she felt the demonic lust-driven power within her... seeking an outlet.

It was time to get dirty.
Putting away one of the knives, he grasped the other with both hands and ran at the ghost!
The king watches him warily... he is obviously not unaccustomed to battle, his skills not dulled by the ages. As the thief charges him, he meets his charge with another swing of the sword!

You sound like you know what is actually going on. Before I came to speak to you, others had spoken of you either being a fool or the cause of all of this." He adds after a few moments, "I did not know sunlight can harm them... do we know why? Or how? ...it might be possible to copy that... or at least contain the light. I know some illusion magic, and that's all just redirecting light." He head shakes once, "Anyways. That brings up three points."
He pauses for a moment, "One. Do we have any knowledge, at all, who this person is? I'd think some one of influence would be the likely culprit, since they have access to all those deposits of power and knowledge. Or it's someone who can divine that information -- and that's just as troubling. Two. Are there any options, at all? I... perhaps the knowledge of these ancient mages isn't lost..." He trails off once more, and says "...and three. I fought a person in the Arena. Vilehand. He was a man -- but more, and at the same time less -- I won't speak of this outside these chambers, but whatever he was... is still out there." Ovvar hmmms slightly, and murmurs "...he was in the sun... was he... demon in a host?"
The king sighs. "The whys and hows are not known to me. The people revered the spirits as gods... very few people tried to study them. And those who have are now exiled from the city by orders of the Church. So I am left with little..." He stares out of the window for a moment, his voice weary and frustrated, then he looks back. "People call me a fool. And a coward... There was a time where I would meet such challenges with my sword, however... There is more at stake here."
"The Church has long watched us with suspicion. They do not like our ways. Finally they gave me an ultimatum... reform my country or face a Crusade on my lands. I chose the lesser evil... damning myself in the eyes of my ancestors and my people. We are proud, strong people... For ages we have defended our own ways... but the outside world changes around us. A war with the Church would bring fire and death... they would rather leave nothing standing of the woods or the cities than let them remain in 'heresy'. I was left with no other choice..." He puts his hand over his eyes for a moment, sighing... then leans back in his chair.
"But I ramble... my troubles are not to be your concerns. If you seek to know what it is you face... seek out the Soul Killer Knights. Exiled they were, I was forced to do so... but they know more than any living man about the spirits that inhabit these lands. They would not help me. But perhaps they might aid a stranger. They are not evil... but proud. I was forced to deal them a grave insult... and I understand their anger."
