Elliot didn't know which was the stronger emotion, his fear or his shame as the other him energies from the shadows clad in the frilly dress and pigtails. "Being in touch with my feminine side is not a bad thing...", he protested, the line sounding as if it had many rehearsed many times. "At least I'm dressed appropriately for an adult... you look like you took fashion advice from a six year old!".

Turning his head slightly, he whispered to Elise, "Do I have to... fight it?".

"You have to accept it." Elise respinds.

"That's fitting, considering that's what you are most of the time. You put on a big shoe of hating it, but you love it don't you?" the Shadow responds with a twisted grin

Konoko tenses up slightly, but remains calm as she watches the stairs.

Descending down the stairs is... Konoko. Her skin is even paler that usual, there's a strange dark tint about her and she's dressed all in finery.

"Hmm~? Oh, it seems we have a guest dear~"

"You'll never know unless you go meet it for yourself..." her animus says.

"It'll likely be at this mindscape's version of the Rainbow Hotel."

[KonokoHasano]

Descending down the stairs is... Konoko. Her skin is even paler that usual, there's a strange dark tint about her and she's dressed all in finery.

"Hmm~? Oh, it seems we have a guest dear~"

[I'm trying to imagine the idea of a much paler Konoko. XD]

Konoko blinks for a moment and gives a slight bow. "Hey, I'm... well, Konoko, but from the NOT shadow world."

Elliot blushed brightly at the accusation for the shadow version of himself. "I do not... ", he groaned. "What do you mean, accept it, Elise? I don't understand... ", he murmured to the tiny girl, without taking his gaze off the Shadow in the frilly dress.

[Vomica]

She raises an eyebrow at that, "Mindscapes are dangerous places. ...it should be... I..." She glances around, "...I don't know the way..."

[Blaze]

Konoko blinks for a moment and gives a slight bow. "Hey, I'm... well, Konoko, but from the NOT shadow world."

"Ahhhhhh, my false self. Come in, come in. We can both finally have conversations worth having!" Konoko's Shadow says as she continues down the stairs. Konoko can see she seems to be carrying something in her hand...

"You do! It's all part of the show for you! You run around, putting on the act of the 'good guy hero' but your ultimate goal is to be turned into a little girl you can be pampered! You don't want to put effort into anything you lazy slob!" the Shadow says with a sneer.

She raises an eyebrow at that, "Mindscapes are dangerous places. ...it should be... I..." She glances around, "...I don't know the way..."

"Just keep the place in your mind and walk. Your feet will carry you there." her animus advises.

Elliot looked visibly stung by the Shadow's hurtful words, to the point where he seemed to have tears in his eyes. Sure, it was embarrassing to be turned into a little girl, but it also meant getting to cuddle up to someone and having them protect you from the rest of the world. Swallowing a deep breath, he almost wished he had someone to hide against now. "Th-That's not true, I've tried hard to get jobs!".

"Ahhhhhh, my false self. Come in, come in. We can both finally have conversations worth having!" Konoko's Shadow says as she continues down the stairs. Konoko can see she seems to be carrying something in her hand...

"False self? That's a bit rude considering that I don't consider you my own false self." She shrugs a bit at it and nods, looking at shadow's hand. "What's that?"

Yelanda gives a simple nod, "...I understand." With that she shuts her eyes, and her awareness, to the world. As her mind drifts to her home, to the place she has spent the vast majority of her days in these days of her existence. Memories come flooding in of her sisters, of guests, and of it all. Vivid images of the Hotel, and all that she knows it to be.

[Blaze]

Elliot looked visibly stung by the Shadow's hurtful words, to the point where he seemed to have tears in his eyes. The darkness in the store seems to intensify at Elliot's denial.

Yelanda gives a simple nod, "...I understand." With that she shuts her eyes, and her awareness, to the world. The world around her shifts to match her reality. When she opens her eyes, the Hotel stands before her, the door replaced by a creepy red vortex!

"You mean you don't recognize your own husband~? First you let him die, then you forget him? How cruel we are~"

Konoko stares for a long moment. "... for your information, I have NOT forgotten about Jiro. I only asked because I saw the rope in your hand first." Clenches her fists. "And I did not let him die. If it was in my power to save him, I would have. I wouldn't have let him die!"

"I've TRIED in other places! I've just ended up working at those because I had friends that run them... ", he continued to protest, his cheeks now rather pink. "And so what if I DO enjoy being a girl now and then? Is that such a bad thing?".

Yelanda doesn't hesitate, and shows no fear. She walks towards the hotel, with her weapon drawn. The vampire has a mission and a purpose, she is going to see it through. With that she leaps through the vortex!

[Blaze]

Konoko stares for a long moment. "... for your information, I have NOT forgotten about Jiro. I only asked because I saw the rope in your hand first." Clenches her fists. "And I did not let him die. If it was in my power to save him, I would have. I wouldn't have let him die!"

"And that's just the thing! Despite all that power, all that wealth, everything that makes you better than everyone else... you still can't save him! Oh, I feel soooo sorry for myself, you poor fool~ Ohohohohohohoho~!" Shadow Konoko says, striking the typical ojou laugh pose.

The shadow's grin fades a bit as the shadows dim slightly.

"Well, it is when you protest so vocally! "Ooohhh, I don't wanna be a girl, waa waa waa!" You probably get your kicks from becoming a girl and having girls tease you~"

Yelanda doesn't hesitate, and shows no fear. She walks towards the hotel, with her weapon drawn. The vampire has a mission and a purpose, she is going to see it through. With that she leaps through the vortex!

Through the vortex she goes! And she finds herself in a twisted reflection of the Hotel's lobby! The place is painted garishly in all the colors of the rainbow... but it's hard to tell, it's so dark!

" Keep your eyes peeled..." her animus whispers.

[KonokoHasano]

"And that's just the thing! Despite all that power, all that wealth, everything that makes you better than everyone else... you still can't save him! Oh, I feel soooo sorry for myself, you poor fool~ Ohohohohohohoho~!" Shadow Konoko says, striking the typical ojou laugh pose.

"Hey, piece of shit, if you're REALLY my Shadow, then you would have known that back then, I DIDN'T have any powers that I could use. I... It's not my fault, okay?" Konoko said with a cold glare, fists clenching. "And I'm not better than everyone else. I... well...." Konoko frowns as she tries to come up with something, but honestly can't.

Shakes her head for a moment before considering something and giving a smirk at her shadow. "Of course, you're just a shadow of myself, so I wouldn't really expect a useless figment such as yourself to really understand. All you seem capable of is trying to be a lame opposite of me. You probably can't even decide things for yourself outside of what I'm currently seeing." Gives a dramatic shrug. "Unlike me, who is capable of deciding just about anything for myself, you're stuck in a preset. Oh darling, i feel so sorry for you~"

She pulls out a paper fan and mocks Shadow Konoko back with an ojou laugh, as if trying to taunt her.
