Anthem City: Fall of the Possum

[Harri-chan]

Georgia's eyes widened, and she clasped at the controller awkwardly, before glancing at the TV with an almost frightened expression. "Suzie... I don't know what I'm doing here... I'm just gonna mess up your game... ", she groaned.

[Blaze]

"I just saved, don't worry about that. We'll take baby steps. Just move the stick to move." Suzie says, pointing at the controller

[Harri-chan]

Georgia pressed her tongue against the inside of her cheek as she looked down at the controller. Hesitantly, she pressed the stick forward with her thumb, and then looked up at the TV screen, "Is this one of your favourites?", she asked.

[Blaze]

Tilting the stick makes the game's player character move forward! She seems to be in some kind of ice cave. The graphics are impressively realistic!

"It's my favourite ever~ Now, pull this trigge rbutton her to make the character attack, and this one to make her cast a spell."

[Harri-chan]

Georgia was definitely lacking in the hand to eye co-ordination, constantly looking up and down from the controller, to the screen, and back again as Suzie explained to her. "Cast a spell? Like super powers?", she asked with a slight frown as she pulled on the trigger button for that.

[Blaze]

"Sure, like super powers." Suzie says, rolling her eyes. As Georgia pulls the button, the player character extends her hand and shoots a fireball! Upon impact, it melts some of the ice.

"See, like that."

[Harri-chan]

Georgia laughed to herself as she watched the fireball explode from the character's hand. Her nose wrinkled with a grin, and she started to repeatedly use the fire attack. This lasted a full minute before she started moving forward again, "What's this hero called?".

[Blaze]

Suzie gives a giggle.

"Brynhildr. The creators got the name from Norse Mythology or something. Anyway, see if you can find a monster to kill."

[Harri-chan]

Georgia frowned, looking somewhat thoughtful as she moved the character around the icy landscape, "I'm re-naming her to fire girl", she muttered in response to Suzie informing her of the correct name. "C'mon, fire girl, let's kick some butt!".

[Blaze]

Suzie giggles at Georgia's decision to rename the heroine as she stumbles across a goblin! It's standing by a fireplace gnawing on some roasted meat.

"Okay, if you can sneak up on an enemy, you can do a sneak attack that'll most likely kill it." Suzie explains.

[Harri-chan]

Georgia brought the character to a stop, and narrowed her eyes at the on-screen goblin. Glancing across at Suzie, she nodded her head, "Okay... how do I sneak?", she asked, peering down at the controller in her hands again.

[Blaze]

"Press the joystick in to crouch and move to sneak. But don't move too fast or it might still hear you. Also, draw your sword now, because once I sneaked up on an enemy and drew it and the sound of it alerted them. Pull the attack trigger to draw it and again to sneak attack." Suzie says

Suddenly, the two hear the sound of the front door opening!

[Harri-chan]

Georgia pushed down the stick, but before she started to move, the sound of the front door opening could be heard. Her cheeks suddenly went red, as if the adult woman inside her had realised she was sat in her pajamas playing video games. Swallowing a deep breath, her brown eyes peered towards the living room door, "What... time is it?".

[Blaze]

"It's about noon, why?" Suzie asks as Amanda walks in, wearing her business clothes and looking rather haggered. She smiles at the pair and puts down a suitcase she was carrying before flopping on the couch next to them.

"Hi girls..." she murmurs, rubbing her eyes.

[Harri-chan]

Georgia's eyes followed Amanda across the room as she came over to the couch, and without much thought, she set the controller down and wrapped her arms around her weary looking friend. "Where have you been?", she asked, looking concerned.
