FS-45E Egret - The CTC's current standard strike fight, the Egret is a highly adaptable fighter capable of being configured for both air superiority and ground attack roles. Its most notable feature is its VTOL capability, giving it excellent maneuverability in combat as well as making it capable of short take-offs and landings, which enable it to function from the CTC's aircraft carriers as well as letting the CTC design shorter runways for their airfields.
AIF-49V Ghost - The CTC is experimenting with the development of a fully AI-controlled fighter. Its VTOL capabilities exceed the Egret's, making it extremely maneuverable and capable of maneuvers impossible for an organic pilot. It is currently limited to an air superiority role, armed with directed energy weapons and missiles.
XF-50 Sylph - Another experimental plane, the Sylph is intended to eventually replace the Egret, taking the capabilities of a manned fighter to the next level. While not quite as maneuverable as the Ghost, it's high speed and sophisticated defenses give it practically equivalent protection against attacks. Variants currently undergoing testing incorporate an air-to-orbit capability.
