"I guess you aren't very hungry for dessert Lizzi, because I was going to buy Ice Cream for all of us from Dairy Queen. There is one right up the road. Since you didn't finish your dinner, there will be no Ice Cream for you. Ready to go Mina?" Jade said.

"No. She is going to finish her food. Nothing is to be wasted," said Mina as she looked at Jade. "Also, I don't want ice cream. It will make you fat."

Mina thought what she said was clever. She didn't want ice cream but felt that it was a good idea to say that last part even if she kind of was worried about that.
