Anthem City: Fall of the Possum

[Blaze]

Suzie dusts Georgia off, wiping some small stones from her shirt and dress. She nods in agreement.

"If I see that guy again, I'm gonna deck him!"

[Harri-chan]

Georgia stated at Suzie for a before starting to giggle. "I'm fine...", she reassured the girl, reaching out to gently rub her arm. "You don't need to go around starting fights with people because of me, I can take care of myself".

[Blaze]

Suzie smiles at the reassuring rub Georgia gives her and she pats the younger girl on the helmet.

"OKay, if you're sure. Wanna keep practising then?"

[Harri-chan]

Georgia nodded her head, a determined look on her face. "Yup...", she murmured, her brown eyes glancing toward one of the half-pipes. "You know what would get me used to this body? Trying to twist around in the air and land back on my feet like they are", she said, pointing to some skaters. "I know I'm gonna fall a lot... but that's what the pads are for, right?".

[Blaze]

Georgia's eyes widen with concern as she shakes her head.

"NO. Absolutely not, not on my watch. You can't even outpace me at a fast walk yet, you think you can tackle a half pipe? No."

[Harri-chan]

Georgia chewed her lip for a moment, and then her shoulders slumped, conceding to the authority of Suzie's extra few years of age. "I just said that's something to work towards... ", she muttered, her hands settling on her hips as her eyes narrowed slightly, "And I could go faster than you walk... ".

[Blaze]

Georgia gives a small smile.

"Wanna see? If I can get to the other end of the park at walking speed before you do on your skates, you have to drop this idea, got it?"

[Harri-chan]

The younger teen considered the wager for a moment, glancing across the park and back, before nodding her head. "Got it", she repeated, flicking loose hair back over her shoulders she shuffled herself around and spread her feet apart, "Ready?".

[Blaze]

Suzie smirks and bends down lower, putting one foot in front of the other.

"I'm ready. COunt us down."

[Harri-chan]

"Three... ".

Georgia twisted one foot slightly.

"Two... ".

She bent her knees and lowered her head.

"One... ".

Drawing a deep breath, she lifted her other foot an inch from the ground.

"GO!".

On the signal, she pushed hard with her standing leg to glide forward, her auburn hair trailing behind her as she took several large strides to try and quickly build up her speed!

[Blaze]

Suzie starts moving too! Taking long strides, she moves at a fast walk, not needing to build up speed like Suzie does! She actually manages to get a bit of a lead on the smaller girl

[Harri-chan]

Georgia pushed each foot back to drive herself forward on the skates, slipping her arms behind her back, and ducking her head down to try and make herself as aerodynamic as possible!

[Blaze]

Suzie is pretty fast, even at a fast walk! She starts to outpace the younger girl, and the end of the park is drawing near!

[Harri-chan]

Georgia concentrates on her movements, knowing she should easily be able to glide past Suzie if she was doing things right, but the sight of the park fence coming closer made her panic. It wasn't going to show her skating skills in a good light if she got beaten by a walker!

[Blaze]

Suzie takes several long strides, not as hesitant as Georgia is! Arm outstretched, her fingers touch the fence! She turns to the smaller girl and grins.

"I win~"
