Anthem City: Fall of the Possum

[Harri-chan]

Despite not being the one that had caused the whole mess, Georgia looked oddly embarassed by it all. Maybe because the idea that she was still mentally an adult had been shattered by getting into an argument, and nearly a fight with a teenager. "It's fine... ", she mumbled. "He'd have been the one needing saving if I didn't have these on...", she added, pointing down at her skates in an unconvincing attempt to assure the two older teens she wasn't a helpless little girl.

[Blaze]

Suzie isn't paying much attention to Georgia. She is staring at the teenager, her mouth slightly agape and her cheeks slightly pink.

"Er... y-yeah, it's fine! Younger siblings can be such a pain. I'm Suzie by the way, and this is Georgia."

The boy quirks an eyebrow, then gives a low chuckle.

"Kevin. The brat is Adam. We gotta get going, sorry again."

He heads over, grabs Adam by the shoulder and leads him from the skate park, Suzie staring after him as he does.

"Wow..."

[Harri-chan]

Georgia had never had a boyfriend. She'd had plenty of boys that were friends when she was a kid, but never anyone that gave her butterflies in her tummy. Still, even without this experience, she could tell something was up with the way Suzie was looking at Kevin. It took her a moment to figure out, but once she did, a giggle slipped from her lips, and she went to take knee of the ice-cream cones.

"I'd never have guessed that was your type, Suzie", she grinned.

[Blaze]

Suzie blinks and snaps out of it. She looks at Georgia and blushes.

"H-He's not! Sure, he's handsome, but I'm mature enough to tell the difference between attraction and love."

She pokes her tongue out at the younger girl.

[Harri-chan]

Despite the concept being entirely foreign yo her just a few days ago, the sibling-like teasing was now feeling so natural to Georgia, and she felt giddy with excitement from the idea Suzie had a crush. "Why don't you go swap numbers? Or facetube accounts? If you let him walk off you might not see him again".

She had no idea where the suggestion had come from. Georgia had certainly never swapped numbers with any guy, but maybe her subconcious mind had picked it up from something on TV and stored it away. She licked her ice-cream and looked up at her new cousin expectantly.

[Blaze]

Suzie continues to look indignant, but a small giggle escapes her lips.

"Ehh... nah. He's cocky and aware of how handsome he is. I bet he's the kind of guy who keeps three girls wrapped around his little finger at all times."

She patpats Georgia and smiles.

[Harri-chan]

Georgia found herself feeling rather impressed by Suzie's ability to judge a boy like that. It was a skill she'd never even thought about before... but already she could tell it could be so important in the world she now belonged to. Her cheeks flushed red at the patting of her head as she licked her cone, "Are there any other boys you like?", she asked, the teasing gone from her tone, replaced by genuine curiosity.

[Blaze]

Suzie licks her own ice-cream and leads Georgia to a park bench to sit down.

"Hmm... none at the moment really. Why?"

[Harri-chan]

Georgia skated along Suzie, her auburn hair flicking out as she turned sharply and lowered her butt onto the bench. Glancing at the other girl, she gave a little shrug, "I don't know... I've never really talked to anyone about boys before... ", she admitted. "When I saw you looking at that Kevin guy that way... it just felt like I was becoming part of something... wait, that probably makes no sense", she blushed.

[Blaze]

Suzie giggles and blushes happily, putting her arm around Georgia and pulling her into a hug.

"You're like a little sister to me now..."

[Harri-chan]

Georgia smiled and gently leaned into Suzie, wriggling her free arm up around the girl to return her hug. "I always wanted a sister", she said with a smile. "I never imagined I'd be the little one though... ", she blushed.

[Blaze]

"Life's funny huh? Two days ago, when I woke up I didn't think I would have a little sister..."

Suzie says that with a smile... as she steals a lick of Georgia's ice-cream!

[Harri-chan]

Georgia's nose wrinkled. "Hey...", she laughed, but made no effort to pull the ice-cream cone out if Suzie's reach. Her brown eyes studied the other girl's face, marvelling at how much it felt like back when she and Amanda had met. "I think it might be better if we don't mention me nearly getting into a fight to your Mom...".

[Blaze]

Suzie smiles and nods, making a zipping motion across her lips.

"My lips are sealed."

She looks down at the skates on Georgia's feet and grins.

"You're getting good on those."

[Harri-chan]

The younger girl grinned at her, and gave her a squeeze before leaning back and looking down at the pink skates. "Still need a ton more practice though... ", she murmured, and her gaze flickered across to one of the half-pipes. "I guess if there's one thing I don't have a shortage of anymore though, it's time to practice... ", she blushed.
