Elliot followed, although let Julia dictate the pace they walked. After listening to the others, he gave her a smile, "Sounds like we're the only one with a case to work on... ", he said.

"That you not look in certain places.. and we will provide you some financial assistance"

Dact shrugs. "That depends... tell me where these places are... unless someone comes to me with a case involving them I'll respect your privacy. How does that sound...?"

"You too, Dact", smiled the boy. "I want you to know I'm prepared to help in any way to get Julia's case solved. I know we've made a good team in the past, so there's no reason we can't do the same again. Oh, have you met Julia?", he asked. Of course, this was the Julia that ran the bakery, rather than the original. "Dact... meet Julia. Julia... this is Dact".

I know we've made a good team in the past, so there's no reason we can't do the same again. Oh, have you met Julia?", he asked. Of course, this was the Julia that ran the bakery, rather than the original. "Dact... meet Julia. Julia... this is Dact".

Dact nods to Elliot. "Sure I suppose I could use the help." He looks to Julia. "Evening miss... how can I help you?"

"I understand you perfectly, I'm trying to be polite about the fact that I intend to follow through with whatever my clients wish me to investigate. Of course I don't have any cases at the moment..."

Dact nods to Elliot. "Sure I suppose I could use the help." He looks to Julia. "Evening miss... how can I help you?"

"One of my employees went missing." She said gravely, "A waitress. Her boyfriend was getting into some pretty scary stuff before she disappeared. I think...I think he might have done something to her."

She looked very distraught at this possibility.

"I have money," She said, "I'd be willing to pay handsomely if you got her back safely"

[Knight Errant]

"That would be most unfortunate.. for you"

"I believe you missed the point of my enterprise. I aim to discover the truth for whoever wishes it. No exceptions."

Zoey nods. "Umm, sure, ok. What do you need?"

"Head to the desk in the front room. There is a badge there you can wear." ^^

Elliot remained silent, listening to Julia explain, and then Dact responded. He nodded to the Knight's train of thought and pointed his finger at him, as if to show he agreed with the plan of action he'd decided to take!
