Georgia blushed. "Anyone else wouldn't have been so lucky to have you and your Mom. You two are the reason I haven't totally gone crazy", she argued. "Sure, it's embarassing in a lot of ways... but I used to spend so much time on my own, I'd have probably had some kind of breakdown eventually... but now I have you and Auntie Amanda".
Georgia blushes so much, even her ears go a little red, "I react strongly... to affection?", she asked. She hadn't realised how seemingly addicted to physical contact she had become in the space of just a couple of days.
"But they're good kisses and hugs... ", mumbled Georgia, trying to twist it around so it wasn't a reflection of how lonely she'd been before, but she knew that was true. Gazing at Suzie, she started to feel guilty for being the cause of that sad frown, before suddenly leaning in, and kissing the other girl's cheek, "But I'm not living alone now! I'm happy now!", she exclaimed.
Georgia smiled, and licked at the cone before the ice-cream could drip onto her Hello Kitty t-shirt. She rolled her skates back and forth on the ground in front of the bench as she finished it off. "I haven't had one of those for years", she said as she swallowed the last mouthful of the cone. "What shall we do now?", she asked, certainly not used to having all this free time.
Part of Georgia would have been quite happy to practice for the rest of the day, to put all her energy into getting herself back into shape for going back to do what she was good at. Another part of her felt guilty though. She'd already imposed on Suzie's life so much, and didn't want to feel like the teenager had to put her whole weekend on pause so Georgia could skate.
"What do you normally do on a sunday?", she asked, tilting her head.
"Because I don't want to mess up your weekend", she said, carefully rising from the bench, twisting around on the skates to first Suzie, before offering her hands to help the other girl up. "I mean... you already all saturday on a shopping trip for me... I'm not gonna let you spend all sunday watching me skate around the park, Suzie".
Georgia rolled her eyes, "You can be so frustrating at times... just like your Mom", she muttered, and shook her head. "Look... you're picking what we do next. End of discussion", she said, and tried to look stern, but couldn't keep the grin from her face as she peered up at the older girl.
