Ellen: ... *blinks in understanding* ...No, nothing of the sort. From what I was told, it's supposed to help me become capable of using magic.

Good. I'd hate to have to explain you joining a gang to Amber... Where did you get a magic-enhancing tattoo, though? Just out of curiousity.

Ellen: ...I doubt that there are any gangs that aren't afraid of me, anyway. ...As for the tattoo, well... *averts her gaze* ...A few months ago, I received permission from my mom to study under the One Week Wizard.

Ellen: ...An asthmatic and anemic purple-haired pajama-wearing zombie-skinned magician. She's the source of some of your spell cards, if that helps.

Ah. A Touhou thing, then... Is this a problem somehow?

Ellen: ...Not a problem, per se, but... I don't like tattoos. People always look sillier after they get them.

[Circe]

Oh, so that's all. For a moment there I thought it was something serious.

Ellen: *seeming slightly offended* ...I look like the wicked offspring of a 'magical girl' anime and Sasuke Uchiha. Seems mildly serious to me.

[Circe]

Well, it could always be worse, couldn't it?

Ellen: ... ...I suppose. It could've been a lightning bolt-shaped scar instead.

[Circe]

There, you see? Never hurts to have some perspective.

*Ellen nods, then sighs after a few moments.*
...I'd explain how the thing's supposed to work, but there's a fair amount of magi-babble involved. I'm not sure yet how much of it I get.
