Bismarck: *sounding embarrassed* Vell, thank you. It's been a long time since I've been greeted this vay.

*The bat decides to finish his meal before continuing the conversation.*

(You are so horrible! Depriving us of how this story will go!)

Don smiled as he return his whip to his hammer space and then pulled out a few small explosives. He then threw them at the stunned couglin to make sure it was knocked out.

"I can't risk you stopping me now," said Don as he walked over to the crown and then grabbed it. "I have an eye for treasure and don't want to let something valuable get away."

((OOC: ()^_^ My bad.))

*The couglin, unable to resist the explosions, shrieks as it is caught in the blast!*

"Is there anything I could do for you to help?"

Bismarck: *flutters up to eye level* I guess there is one thing... vell, two things, actually. Pardon me.

*The bat flies into the room behind him. He reappears about twenty seconds later, dragging a jade figurine across the floor behind him.*

Bismarck: Firstly, could you take this off my claws? I don't have much vealth left, and I doubt I'll be using it anytime soon.

"Well, that was some excitement," said Don as he took the crown and began to inspect it. "Let see if this thing has any damage or age on it."

Ashley takes the figurine into his hands and observes it. "What is this?"

"Well, that was some excitement," said Don as he took the crown and began to inspect it. "Let see if this thing has any damage or age on it."

*The crown is old, as well it should be. A thin layer of dust and specks of dirt cover it, the latter caused in part by Don's brief battle. What parts of it are visible past the grime still reflect what light there is in the room, though.*

Ashley takes the figurine into his hands and observes it. "What is this?"

*The figurine is shaped like a fully armed and armored knight, a falcon etched into its shield. Just by holding it, one could feel the nobility that the knight exuded during his life.*

Bismarck: Not long bevore I claimed the crown, the castle was visited by some traveling knights from a distant kingdom. A good time was had by all, and a local artisan created this artifact to remember them by. *shakes his head* It's more of a keepsake than anything else, now.

"With a bit of cleaning and this thing will fetch me a good bucks," said Don as he pulled out a rag from his hammer space and began to wipe the crown clean.

"I see, and you wish for me to have it?" He asked. "It does look rather lovely, and shows the work put into it."

*Indeed, that seems to be the case. It takes a bit of scrubbing, but the grime of the ages is no match for cleanliness. Ah, what a lovely shine the crown has...*

Bismarck: *smiles proudly* That it does, Ashley. Do what you wish with it.

"I thought so." said Don as he place it into his Hammerspace. The then walked over to the beast and poked it with his sword. "Beast. Speak."

Couglin: *weakly; sarcastic* Bark.

"I will take care of it." Gives a bow to Bismarck.

Bismarck: *in acceptance* You have my thanks. As vor the other thing I need vrom you, it concerns one of the intruders in my castle.

"Funny," said Don as he gives the beast another kick. "Now tell me what you know about this castle."

"Hm? Intruders?" He asked. He then gave a nod. "I do sense other... life moving around in this place, but I didn't pay it no heed at first."

KonokoHasano wrote:"Hm? Intruders?" He asked. He then gave a nod. "I do sense other... life moving around in this place, but I didn't pay it no heed at first."

Bismarck: *closes his eyes for a few moments* I can sense... four voreign life forms besides you. One's in the throne room at present, another's on the battlements, the third somewhere in the basement...
The vourth person is who concerns me. Normally there's some sense of their feelings and emotions, but whoever he or she is, the intruder's presence is all I can detect.
