Ellen: ... ...Probably wouldn't hurt to have a variety of different swim-clothes on stand-by. *as some of her cards form a question mark over her head* I don't know what my body shape is going to be like by then.

Or, I could enchant the ones you have on to grow with you...

Ellen: ... One more thing, self: *pauses, then lightly dekapons her own forehead* ...She's a witch. *sighs* That'll work just as well.

[Circe]

Right. Hold still... *Circe looks intently at Ellen's swimsuit and begins to chant a spell. It glows momentarily, then fades back to normal as Circe concludes her chant a moment later.* There. Now, whatever happens, your swimsuit will maintain its size relative to your body. Sound good?

[AmbushCat]

Ellen: ...Yes. That will work just fine.

*The tattoo on her arm glows a bit in response. Ellen visibly flinches and clutches the volleyball tightly even as her other hand palms her forehead*

[Circe]

*Circe takes note of the glow.* Is everything OK there?

Ellen: ...Pounding... that spell, it... in my brain... it aches. Medicine, ...please...

[Circe]

Oh, lord... *Before Circe can comment on this further, the maid who was sent for the potion earlier comes back, bottle in hand.*

Miss Circe, I've brought the potion you asked for...

Yeah, great. Just put it down somewhere and get my guest some headache medicine or something, got it?

R-right! *The maid carelessly drops the potion bottle on a nearby shelf and runs back out of the room.*

Ellen: ...Spell... in... my brain. Ominous... Latin chanting. *all but drapes herself over the volleyball, both hands on her head* ...A wizard did it... trombones on the brain.

[Circe]

Hrm... *Circe frowns and starts chanting a counter-spell for her previous enchantment.*

[AmbushCat]

*Ellen's tattoo glows again even as Circe's counter-spell does its work. She... doesn't take it well.*
...The baby is ...teething. Stop ...the spells. Gsssh... So many words... sinking in.

[Circe]

*Hearing Ellen cry out, Circe cuts off her spell.* OK, that didn't work... Now what?

Ellen: *turns a pained but still eerily calm face at her* ...Wisdom acquired. ...Valkyrie needs medicine, yesterday.

[Circe]

...Right. *A moment later, the maid comes back again, this time with a glass of water and some pills.* Ah, there you are. Ellen, can you swim over and get these?

*Ellen manages to focus enough to paddle her way on over. Snatching both items, she downs both the medicine and the water as quickly as she can.*

Ellen: ... *slams both hands onto the edge of the pool, panting* ... ...Feels... a little better. Sorry... for the rudeness. *directs this next bit to Circe* ...Those spells...Latin?
