The hit sequel to GI Joe: Rise of Cobra is coming to the big screen June 26, and stars Bruce Willis as Colonel Joe Colton, the new leader of GI Joe, Channing Tatum as Duke, the guy from the Mummy (Imotep) as Zartan, and Ray Park as Snake Eyes. Also, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson will be portraying Roadblock. There is a new actor playing Cobra Commander, and the guy who played Storm Shadow returns to reprise his role as Cobra's ninja assassin.
As per the end of the 1st movie, Zartan has taken over, posing as the President of the United State's place via his special ability to assume the likeness of anyone, thanks to the nanomites Cobra Commander and Dr. Mindbender worked on. Zartan/the President orders GI Joe disbanded and has many of them imprisoned. Jinx and Colton, along with Snake Eyes and Roadblock lead a small strike force to free the real president from his bunker and stop Zartan and Cobra Commander from taking over the world.
