Anthem City: Fall of the Possum

[Harri-chan]

With a little splash, Georgia pulled her legs up out of the water and climbed to her feet, following Suzie. "It's just like a real beach", she said with a silly grin as they reached the recreational pool. "Hey, Suzie... did you know I used to be a good surfer?", she said, in a slightly boastful tone.

[Blaze]

"You mean that time we all went to the beach? Not falling off the board right away doesn't make you a great surfer." Amanda says teasingly as they wade deeper into the warm pool.

[Harri-chan]

Georgia looked confused for a moment, her brown eyes peering up at Amanda, the look soon replaced with a sheepish expression as they waded into the warm pool. She was now starting to doubt her own memories, wondering if perhaps things she thought she'd done well in the past... were merely things she'd been not terrible at it, that her immature mind was now exaggerating and twisting.

"Well, it was a long time ago... maybe my memories are hazy... ".

[Blaze]

Amanda giggles as they reach the point where Georgia has to go on tippy toes to keep her feet on the bottom! The water is starting to churn as the wave machine starts!

[Harri-chan]

Georgia blushed as her lack of height was highlighted by her efforts to keep her face above water while Amanda and Suzie achieved it by simply standing. She glanced around, peering at others in the pool, and then leaned her head back and squinted up at the blue sky, her mind wandering for a moment to battles between super heroes and villains.

[Blaze]

As Georgia daydreams, she takes a wave of water to the face! The wave machine is at full power now, the water at the deep end of the pool nearly reaching the tall edges!

[Harri-chan]

The wave to the face soon brought her out of her thoughts, and she wrinkled her nose, shaking her head from side to side to get rid of the water. It had been a very long time since she'd been in water, but even longer since she'd experienced waves. Her brown eyes seemed to wide a little at how large they were, and then her chest started to tighten with a panic. Without even thinking, she latched onto Amanda, blushing.

[Blaze]

Amanda looks down and smiles. Suddenly, she grabs Georgia under her arms and lifts her up, sitting her on her shoulders before wading deeper!

[Harri-chan]

Georgia blushed even more, but she certainly did feel safer now that she was up on Amanda's shoulders. Laughter tumbled from her lips as the water splashed up and tickled against her thighs and her tummy, "These waves are pretty big!".

[Blaze]

Amanda smiles and squats under the water as a wave rears up, splashing Georgia! Suzie has swum all the way to the deep end and is using the swells to try and grab the edge of the pool!

[Harri-chan]

Georgia watched Suzie in the deeper end of the pool, "I wanna try... ", she said, wriggling down from Amanda's shoulders, splashing back into the water, before trying to kick her way across to the older teenager.

[Blaze]

As Georgia swims, the waves get bigger and bigger, threatening to overwhelm her!

[Harri-chan]

Georgia started to struggle a little, but seemed determined to reach Suzie rather than go back and cling onto Amanda. She closes her eyes, turning her head each time a wave came along to splash her in the face, and kicked her way forward!

[Blaze]

No matter how hard she swims, the waves push her back, keeping her from reaching Suzie! The girl's back is to her, so she can't see Georgia's plight.

[Harri-chan]

Georgia could feel her arms and legs tiring as she struggled without moving forward at all. With a small groan, she let the waves sweep her back to Amanda in the shallower water, her cheeks now bright red as she looked around to see other kids with their parents.
