Anthem City: Fall of the Possum

[Blaze]

Amanda catches Georgia as the waves die down.

"You okay hon?"

[Harri-chan]

"Yeah... ", said Georgia, her shoulders slumped a little as she caught her breath. Her brown eyes were gazing enviously toward the teens in the deeper end of the pool, with Suzie amongst them.

[Blaze]

Suzie swims back over to the pair, her face split into a wide grin.

"That was awesome!"

[Harri-chan]

Georgia smiled as Suzie came back over, trying to hide her childish jealously, "That was pretty tiring, huh?", she said, flicking wet, auburn hair back over her shoulders.

[Blaze]

"Ahhh, not really~" Suzie says with a grin, oblivious to Georgia's disappointment.

"You girls getting hungry?" Amanda asks, trying to steer the conversation elsewhere.

[Harri-chan]

"Yeah, I kinda am... ", said Georgia, her cheeks still tinted a little red. She glanced across the poolside, "There's places to eat around here too?", she asked.

[Blaze]

Amanda nods and points to a cafe by the Olympic pool.

"Over there. You hungry hon?"

[Harri-chan]

"Yeah, but I can wait a while if Suzie isn't ready... ", she said, looking to the taller teenager for an answer. "It's up to you", she said with a smile.

[Blaze]

Suzie rubs her stomach and thinks.

"Nah, I could eat."

Amanda smiles and nods, leading the pair out of the pool.

[Harri-chan]

Georgia followed them from the water, and briefly glanced up to the sky as they headed over to the poolside cafe. "What time is it?", she asked, glancing back up at Amanda.

[Blaze]

Suzie looks at a large analog clock above the bleachers next to the Olympic pool.

"It's 3 o'clock, why?" she asks as the two enter the cafe area. The smell of chlorine is thankfully not very strong here and the smell of food and coffee is mouth watering. The seats and tables are made of plastic with a pile of towels nearby, a sign requesting that you drape them over the chair if you're still wet from the pool.

[Harri-chan]

"Just wondering... ", she said, with a slight wrinkle of her nose. She wasn't used to letting herself lose track of time so easily. Picking up a towel from the pile, she laid it down over one of the chairs and then sat upon it. "Mm, something smells good over there".

[Blaze]

Amanda grabs 3 menus from the counter and returns to the table as Suzie drapes a towel over her and Amanda's chair. She hands Georgia and Suzie a menu each and smiles.

"Pick whatever you want."

[Harri-chan]

Georgia peered at the menu for a moment, and then glanced down at her flat tummy, exposed by the two piece swimsuit. She chewed her lip, and then a little grin spread across her face. "Could I have a burger? A cheeseburger?", she asked. Amanda knew had strict she'd been with her diet to stay in shape, but apparently she was getting a taste for long forgotten treats.

[Blaze]

"Of course you can hon." Amanda says with a smile.

"I could go for nachos..." Suzie mutters.
