Circe's Manor: Re-re-redux!

"My name's not spelled that way..." Dani mutters under her breath, annoyed, as she opens up the door.

[Circe]

*And Dani's new bedroom is... not that bad! She's got a queen-size bed, a flatscreen TV, some drawers,a bookshelf, a closet full of what look to be maid uniforms similar to what she has on...*

[CalypsoNymph]

Dani blinks. "Huh. This isn't at all what I expected a maid's room to be like." She pokes around a bit, checking her closet to make /sure/ there's nothing but maids uniforms there. "Impressive..."

[Circe]

*And Dani's first impression was right. Nothing but aprons and maid dresses and the like.* Yeah... We might be stuck in the manor most days, but we do live pretty comfortably, I guess...

[CalypsoNymph]

Dani frowns. "Yup. A guilded cage and all that." She frowns a bit deeper, and returns to Marie. "Say... just so I know how worried I should be... how likely is it for Circe to adjust my mind? Physical stuff can be undone... eventually... mental stuff might make not want to undo it in the first place."

[Circe]

Oh, that... She might do that to some people who really tick her off, but again, you just need to stay on her good side...

[CalypsoNymph]

Dani winces... "Ouch. Okay, then, got it. Urgh..." She sighs as she shakes her head. "So... any advice, or anything that I should get to doing right away? I want to make a good first impression... so she doesn't mess with me..."

[Circe]

Well... Did Miss Circe give you any assignments? If she did, you'll want to get on that...

[CalypsoNymph]

Dani shakes her head. "That she did not... or if she did it was too subtle for me to understand. Does that mean that I'm free to do what I want, as long as it's in the mansion?"

[Circe]

Yeah... Unless we see something that really needs to be done. Then I guess we do that.

[CalypsoNymph]

"Hum... okay... well, what do you usually do in your free time?" She looks around. "All I can see is reading, watching TV, and working."

[Circe]

Well, there are pools, like you saw. We could visit one of gyms and see if anyone's playing anything. There's arcade games and stuff in the rec rooms...

[CalypsoNymph]

"Well..." Dani thinks for a bit. She could really do with knowing if she was still as fit as she was... "How about the gym?"

[Circe]

The gym? Sure, give me a sec... *Marie pulls a paper map out of a pocket in her apron and pokes at it a bit.* OK, got it. Just follow me. *And so Melanie leaves the room.*

Dani... follows! She's keeping an eye out, trying, most likely futily, to learn the layout of this place.
