Circe's Manor: Re-re-redux!

Elliot fumbled for a moment, opening the latch. He winced, sliding his arms through the straps, and then pulled it around him before fastening it. Lifting his hands, he poked at the empty cups, "Does this belong to the girl that hurt herself too?".

"How did I..oh, of course! People from your dimension can't instantaneously translocate?" After another nervous look around, to either side, behind her back, to make sure nothing bad is going to happen, she starts explaining. "Where I'm from, people have always been able to do that. How far it can go tends to vary from person to person, and the ability itself baffled biologists for centuries as no other Animalia were capable of something like it...but it's been around for as long as our history runs."

Had a long night, and the constant guests aren't helping my attempts at a nap...

Frowning a bit, Mark mumbles a little to himself. "Ah...sorry about that. Didn't know it was a bad time..."

With a sigh, Elliot picked up the green dress, and tugged it over his head. He wriggled his skinny arms through the holes, and then squeezed it down over his thin frame, his hands tugging the hem of it down as far as it would possibly go, "This feels so weird... ".

"..I suppose it would. Uh, should I be worried about this witch showing up and getting angry I fell through one of her trees, or..?"

With a sigh, Elliot picked up the green dress, and tugged it over his head. He wriggled his skinny arms through the holes, and then squeezed it down over his thin frame, his hands tugging the hem of it down as far as it would possibly go, "This feels so weird... ".

Well, I'd suggest you get used to it fast. You could be in that for a while.

"..I suppose it would. Uh, should I be worried about this witch showing up and getting angry I fell through one of her trees, or..?"

Yeah, maybe... Depends what kind of mood she's in.

Elliot squirmed, the short green dress apparently not doing a great job of completely covering up the panties. His blue eyes widened as he looked up from the clothing to meet the maid's gaze, "Wh-What do you mean, for a while?", he asked.

"Well, I suppose I ought to get out of here fast then...uh.." James looks around again. "Which way is out?"

Eh, don't worry. Miss Circe wouldn't want me sleeping on the job anyway... *The maid chuckles to herself as she continues on.*

Mark slowly nods a little bit. "When can you take a break?" He says, before idly glancing around the place.

Yeah... Well, Dani, meet Claire. Claire, meet Dani... She's new.

Claire: Hm? ... *looks up* Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't see you here. *stands up and curtsies* Welcome to the manor, Miss Dani. I hope you enjoy your employment here.

Dani bows, slightly. "Thanks... nice to meet you..." She tilts her head slightly. "Say, you might know this... is there any way to terminate my employment here? To, you know, leave?"

Claire: *shakes her head sadly* I've never had a reason to find out for myself, so I can't tell you for sure. I'm a servant by nature. *takes out a small book and thumbs through it; irises blacken as she skims* I'll check, but don't get your hopes up.

"Are you a servant by nature, or did Circe make you a servant by nature?" Dani asks suspiciously, narrowing her eyes slightly.

Dani bows, slightly. "Thanks... nice to meet you..." She tilts her head slightly. "Say, you might know this... is there any way to terminate my employment here? To, you know, leave?"

Not for most people, there's not...

"Another couple hours? Jeez...how long is your break?" Mark asks, before taking note of how the halls look pretty much the same. "Jeez...one can easily get lost in here. How do you all get around?"
