Circe's Manor: Re-re-redux!

Well, we could... *The maid cuts herself off as she hears the sound of the doorbell in the distance.* Aw, man... I should probably go get that... You gonna be OK here?

Pausing for a moment, Mark slowly nods a little. "Yeah, I ought to be alright. Go ahead and do what you gotta."

[Circe]

Great. See ya... *The maid runs off, leaving Mark to do what he will.*

Well, obviously a huge manor like that takes a while to traverse, and if nobody happens to be near the door at the moment it could take a little while. Orphea would probably wait around for a good five minutes before even getting concerned. Her fingers, however, do slowly stray toward the strings of the instrument for a moment, before she remembers that it's quite dangerous to play it, and moves her arms back to her sides. She has a habit of passing the time by playing an instrument, after all, and there is one right there on her person. Gotta get a normal guitar soon.

*A matter of minutes later, and the ever-suffering redheaded maid runs up to the gate, panting.* Sorry... about that... How can I help you?

Dani sighs, but nods. "Okay... okay..." She sighs again... but takes the cleaning supplies and gets to work. She's still not in uniform and, if anybody was watching, they could tell that she's not exactly doing the best job she could be... but she is cleaning... passably, perhaps.

You sure you can handle all that, Dani?

Dani frowns, slightly, currently dusting off the weights. "...Huh? Oh, yeah, sure... why do you ask?"

"Uh.." As she prepares to say what she's going to say, Orphea simultaneously realizes two things: (1) This maid is apparently both busy and tired, and probably ran to get here; (2) what she's about to ask will probably sound really stupid. But then, she really shouldn't waste any more of the maid's time, right? So she barrels on ahead anyway. "The owner of this house wouldn't happen to be int'rested in a musical instrument with a reality bendin' effect..would they?"

Waiting there for a moment, Mark hms a little to himself, before getting a curious grin on his face! Waiting till the maid is out of sight, Mark quickly heads back the way the two came, to a point, trying to look for that magic laboratory!

Well, it just seems like you're missing a few spots...

"Uh.." *The maid takes a second to catch her breath, then answer Orphea.* What kind of reality bending are we talking, here...?

Waiting there for a moment, Mark hms a little to himself, before getting a curious grin on his face! Waiting till the maid is out of sight, Mark quickly heads back the way the two came, to a point, trying to look for that magic laboratory!

*After a moment of looking, Mark notices a door with what looks like some kind of potion vial drawn on it. Could that be the one?*

Dani blinks, and takes a long moment looking at the weight she was just cleaning. "...It appears so. And?" Dani appears rather uncerned.

Pausing for a moment, Mark glances around, making sure he's not being watched, before slowly trying the doorknob, seeing if the door is locked or not.

Dani blinks, and takes a long moment looking at the weight she was just cleaning. "...It appears so. And?" Dani appears rather uncerned.

And, you should probably avoid that. Miss Circe hates lazy maids.

Pausing for a moment, Mark glances around, making sure he's not being watched, before slowly trying the doorknob, seeing if the door is locked or not.

*The door... seems to be unlocked! Someone's probably going to get in trouble for that...*

Dani blinks. "Hates as in lets me go hate, or hates as in frilly clothes hates?"

Grinning once again, Mark slowly opens the door and peers in for signs of anyone around.

"Well uh, whenever I play this it does some kinda serious redecorating on buildings and trees around it, to kind of a techno-Asian look..and I think it turns people into some kinda Asian women too, but I didn't really wanta test that too much."

Dani blinks. "Hates as in lets me go hate, or hates as in frilly clothes hates?"

"Frilly clothes" hates.

Grinning once again, Mark slowly opens the door and peers in for signs of anyone around.

*No people to be seen inside. Just a collection of potions and magical items Circe's been working on...*

Quickly and quietly shutting the door behind him, Mark smiles and begins looking around at all of the potions and magical items.

Dani frowns, and takes a long moment to think about it... before she sighs, turns around, and gets back to work, putting in a little more elbow grease.

...She still isn't working as hard as she probably should, but Dani thinks that it'll satisfy Circe, and there aren't any too noticable spots...
