Circe's Manor: Re-re-redux!

*Marie talks to her fellow maid a bit longer, then the conversation ends and she turns to Dani.* So, I just got us a lane for three... That all right?

Danny blinks, and nods. "Oh, uh, yeah, that sounds great..." She looks around some more. "What does Circe need all of these maids for, anyway? She can'thave use for all of them..."

"Eh..just an acoustic with a good sound, carryin' bag so it don't get roughed up when I'm not usin' it. I don't know any of the name brands 'round here, honestly, or I'd prob'ly know more specifically." As someone well-experienced with magic, Circe has probably detected by this point that Orphea has a rather vast amount of it, practically to overflowing..but it isn't clear whether the magic is in her or the instrument while they're in such close proximity.

No, that's quite all right... *Circe does note the general aura of magic around Orphea but, lacking any particular reason to attribute it to her, just chalks it up to the instrument's influence. At any rate, Circe closes her eyes and begins to concentrate, casting a spell below her breath. She soon holds out her hands, and in them are an acoustic guitar and matching carrying case.* Will these do?

Danny blinks, and nods. "Oh, uh, yeah, that sounds great..." She looks around some more. "What does Circe need all of these maids for, anyway? She can'thave use for all of them..."

Well, the manor is pretty large... I think she might just like making maids, too.

...I suppose it couldn't hurt. *Circe offers Orphea the guitar.*

I honestly don't have the faintest idea... *Marie shakes her head.*

Orphea deftly takes off her own instrument and makes the trade, easily avoiding dropping either one. At this point Circe will probably notice that most of the magic reading is definitely coming from the nine-tailed Kitsune herself. Her strange instrument seems to be "tuned," for lack of a better description, to channel the shade of magic that Orphea is exuding in a particular way, probably to produce the reality-bending effect. Based on their conversation so far...Orphea probably doesn't know that. But it wouldn't be too hard for Circe to produce the same effect as the fox-woman can by imitating the same 'shade' of magic and running it through the instrument.

Anyway, she starts strumming a few different chords on the guitar, and goes into a brief snippet of some unfamiliar song before stopping. She plays the instrument like someone with a lot of training and experience, and it sounds pretty good. "This has a great sound. Didju summon it from anywhere'n part'clar, if I wanted to buy another from there later?"

[Circe]

Oh, I don't really recall... *Circe examines the instrument Orphea gave her.* What about this one? Where did it come from?

"It..used to be a Les Paul. Then I got hit with weird light-blue-colored rain. That's also why I look like this."

[Circe]

I see... Well, I think I'll be able to find some use for this. You need anything else?

*The clothes... don't come off! That could be a problem...*

Pausing for a moment, Mark's eyes go wide as she finds the costume not coming off. "Oh ****!" She exclaims, trying to tug and pull at the costume to try and get it off!

Mark lets out an eep as she tugs on the tail and feels pain, before whimpering a little bit. "Damnit! Why won't this costume come off?!"

[Circe]

*Well, these are experimental items... Outside, a passing maid glances at the door to the lab as Mark cries out, but shrugs it off and moves on.*
