Circe's Manor: Re-re-redux!

Claire: *stares at the floor* I... well, it's hard to explain. You've seen me polite and helpful, and I always do my best to stay that way... the problem is... *feeling a bit shameful* ...my darker traits randomly interrupt what I'm doing without warning. It tends to unnerve most of my co-workers.

Oh, yeah. She's pretty powerful, all right... *Josh may notice at this point that the path they're taking doesn't really line up with the directions Louise gave earlier...*

Josh rises an eyebrow slightly as the only go down one flight of stairs. He frowns slightly, looking out a window then back toward Louise. "Are you sure you know where we are going? Shouldn't we be heading down flights or something?"

Josh give a understanding nod, but crosses his arms as he wathes the girl pull out the map again. "It's fine, I'm sure anyone new here would get lost easily..." he says. He peeks over Louise's corner again to get another gaze at the map. "I think we are on the second floor."

We are? But, this says... *Josh note a little "3" in the corner of the map, before the image on it begins to change, showing what seems to be another part of the building on the fourth floor! Louise frowns as she realizes this...* Aw, man. I think my map's broken again...

"Wait, how can a map be brok-" He pauses mid sentence as he watches the map magically shift to the fourth floor level map. His frown returns, pushing up his glasses and lets out a heavy sigh. "Nevermind...Can you get a new map? Or borrow one from some other maid?"

Well, that's just it! I've been trying to get a new map for days, but it never does this when any of the other maids are around, so no one thinks I need it! *Louise sighs as she puts the map back away.* Well, I guess we'll have to do this the hard way...

Josh shakes his head at the blight of the maid in front of him. "Alright, what's the hard way?"

*Inside, Orphea finds a large, fancy looking ballroom! No one's in there but herself and Brittney, but everything's nice and shiny, like it's just been cleaned.* Not bad, huh?
