My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic RP: Elements of Chaos

[Sgt. Rock]

"Ummm...Sure" Rockette replied to the the light brown pony. "What do ya got?" she asked quite hungry all of a sudden.

[Kris_Roth]

Sonata nods, using a levitation spell, bringing up a celery stalk, an apple, and a carrot, as well as the canteen of water. "I have celery, apples, carrots, and this canteen of water. I'm Sonata, by the way. I'm an unicorn. What's your name?" She asks Rockette and Mei Xing.

[Sgt. Rock]

"My name is Sergeant Rockette," Said the green earth pony "I'll take a carrot stick if you don't mind."

[Kris_Roth]

Sonata offers the carrot sticks to Sgt. Rockette. "Here you go, Sergent Rockette...can I call you Rockette, for short? You in the military?" She looks over to Mei Xing, and offers the apple to her. "Here, you should have this apple. I bought the food from one of the local market vendors in town. They have all kinds of delicious vegetables and fruits; suprisingly, there are no meat products. That would make since, since equines are herbivores."

Sonata offers the carrot sticks to Sgt. Rockette. "Here you go, Sergent Rockette...can I call you Rockette, for short? You in the military?" She looks over to Mei Xing, and offers the apple to her. "Here, you should have this apple. I bought the food from one of the local market vendors in town. They have all kinds of delicious vegetables and fruits; suprisingly, there are no meat products. That would make since, since equines are herbivores."

Sonata looked over at Mei Xing and Rockette, and then said, "What makes you say that? What kind of pony are you?" She asks Mei...then she checks her notes she made earlier from Casey and Chloe. "I've been talking to some other ponies in the neighborhood about a nightmare some have been reporting. The images they told me are similar to the ones I had last night. Have you experienced any nightmares lately? Ones involving a creature made up of different creatures and a giant wheel with different images of pony types; unicorns, earth ponies, and Pegasi, among the more common ones?"

[Kether]

Sonata looked over at Mei Xing and Rockette, and then said, "What makes you say that? What kind of pony are you?" She asks Mei...then she checks her notes she made earlier from Casey and Chloe. Mei lashes out with her very long tail grabbing an apple, "Mei Xing is a quilin"

Sonata nods, seeing Mei use her tail to snag an apple for food. "What's a quilin? I take it you are not from around here. It's okay.... I like to meet new friends...." She extends a front hoof to Mei Xing to shake.

[Duskstroke Serenade]

"Very well citizen"say the more brusk voiced unicorn, "If you will please stay back the princess needs to get back to her palace"

Cody nodded and moved out of the way, then thought for a moment. If I follow this princess she might be able to help me. Surely a princess would have enough power to change things back. Or at least provide a method to collect those Elements of Chaos that Discord had mentioned.

Cody made his decision and allowed them to pass, planning on following from a bit of a distance for a while. At least until there wasn't a guard that'd probably spear him.

Henry DuFraine had been sitting on his couch, nursing his bottle when he saw it. He knew he needed to stop buying the generic stuff when he couldn't even get his pink elephants right. This one looked like a patchwork of all sorts of creatures. After it went through its motions and made its very real threats, Henry was able to mumble something before he completely passed out.

"Hey, weren't you on Star Wars?" The familiar voice in the unfamiliar amalgamated form chuckled. "Cheeky. This one's fun already."

He blinked his eyes multiple times and inhaled sharply. He really did have a hangover, and it seemed to be a doosy. Everything about him just felt heavier, and the lights around him were just so bright. He tried standing up, but something was off. He couldn't feel his toes, his hands, he couldn't even feel his clothes. Getting up into the standard hands and knees "please make it stop" hangover position set Henry pretty much at his full height. He lifted an arm to shield his eyes from the lights... and got a face full of peach colored hoof.

"What the buck?" He blinked some more. The bright lights continued to mock him, but for a different reason. Looking at himself, he saw the large flanks of a peach colored cartoon horse. "Aw spit. This is wrong." He turned a bit and caught his reflection in a bamboo-framed mirror. Stick some peanut butter in his lips and call him Mr. Ed. Henry was a horse. A big one too. Peach colored head and body, with white tufts coming out of his neck, tail and hooves, he looked like the love child between a clydesdale and a cream soda.

He looked around some more, and he was surrounded by other horses. Some had wings, others had horns on their heads. All of them were colorful, happy and looking at things made from bamboo. The oddest part was this was his store. Instead of the thrift store quality furniture, there was some real quality bamboo furniture here. Not all of it was furniture either, some of the horses were buying the stuff by the stalk. In one corner by the door, a content looking filly was ringing up sale after sale. Henry's business... it was thriving! "This has to be one of the strangest dreams I've ever had."

"What dream, daddy?" Henry bolted his eyes downward to see a young filly tilting her head at him and speaking in his daughter's voice. She was a bright red, almost pink, with orange and yellow streaked through her mane and tail. "Are you thinkin about momma again?" He blinked at the little pony. Why would he dream his daughter was a horse too? He nodded to her and patted her on the head, getting a pout and a cuddle from her. It was right then that one of the customers happened to smack him in the back of the head with a huge bundle of bamboo. It hurt. It hurt a lot. This was no dream.

"Well buck me in the applesauce."

[[The bamboo shop should be somewhere centralized in town, probably near the arcade. Don't feel like you absolutely have to bring a character there; if it looks like everyone already has their tangents I have an NPC ready and waiting to be abused.]]

MoonSpell trotted silently behind Steel Gaze, and her other guards. Despite her feelings of repressed panic, she took a moment to stare at the pony in the ally way. There was something about him. She despertly wanted to talk to him for a second, but had a feeling Steel Gaze had had enough stalling.

Where ever they were going, she was about to find out just what being a 'Princess' really meant.

Her knees felt weak...

(Think there would be a castle suddenly? I'm not really sure where else she'd be stationed...)

*there's a brief aura of flames surrounding her.. which die down as she grits her teeth*"Mei Xing cannot better describe a quilin than Sonata looking at Mei"

Sonata nods to Mei Xing's display of power, "Oh, you're a Quilin....It's okay. Welcome to...wherever we are...this isn't Ponyville, is it?" She looks around.
"Anyway, I was to deliver a letter to some pony named "Skyfall", but I don't know what he or she looks like."

(Makes sense to me. Although you'd think we'd've noticed it. How about we say it's tucked away somewhere, or hidden by magic or something? )

Jackie followed to the right and slightly behind MoonSpell, doing her best to maintain her disguise and at the same time, appear like she belonged with the Princess. Neither was something she was remotely used to.

"Soooo... Steel, was it? Where are we headed, exactly?"
