An Offer they Can't Refuse

"Right behind you!" Will followed behind her and to the left. There was something that was still bothering her, keeping her from opening up. What was more, it obviously hurt her to keep it hidden. He had to find out what it was. The Family had her by the nose just like him, so by finding out how they were controlling and hurting her, the better chance he would have of making it out of this situation on top.

Hannah giggled. "A vacation from a vacation? I could handle that." She hooked her arm around Steve's bicep and walked into the sand with him. "You're a refreshing kind of person, Steve. It's a pity you had to come here under these circumstances."

Steve smiles to Hannah. "I'm glad you think so... and yeah. I wish I wasn't in trouble with the mob. But it seems they don't want me dead... so there is that." He shakes his head. "Bah... I didn't mean to start talking about them... I'd rather talk about you, Hannah..."

Melissa leads Will onwards! Down the streets and sidewalks of the island. She begins pointing out buildings. "There is the main spa building." She says, pointing to a large building full of one way windows. "They have massage tables, mud baths, beauty salons... such like that." As they look, several pairs of girls head into the building... some more eager than others. In fact there seemed to be women everywhere...

Will did notice the distinct lack of guys, even in the casino. "Never really been to a spa...So Melissa. So far I haven't seen any other guys. I mean, I'm not complaining, but it's kind of strange for me to be the only guy here."

Hanna blushed. "Me? There's not much to talk about. I wouldn't want to impose or anything." She looked intently at the sand as they walked, but still kept her arm around his. As they walk, Steve can see more pairs of women walking along the boardwalk. Always in pairs, always one looking much more... womanly than the other.

Steve figures he should leave her alone for now as he walks arm in arm... he turns his gaze over to see the multiple pairs of women that seemed to be everywhere... "So... Hannah... why does everyone seem to be paired up?" He asks... trying to change the subject away from her.

Melissa blushes deeply at Will's words... she bites her lip a bit... seeming to think for a moment before. "This place is mainly used for training women. The only men here are usually only visiting members of the Marcone Family..." She says, leading him on past the spa...

"Uh huh. So that would be why they couldn't spare another guy to train me." Will sounded somewhat skeptical. It still seemed like she wasn't telling him everything. He continued following her, convinced this was another awkward topic for her. "So, what's that building up ahead?"

"Hmm? Oh." Hanna looked at the women walking to and from the different buildings. "They pair us up with women that have been here a little longer, to help out with our training. You'll see it even more when I take you to the casino." Her voice took on a certain amount of sadness as she looked at him. "I'll be your trainer, as well."

Steve blinks a bit at that. "Your going to train me? For... what, exactly? And did you have your own... err... partner?" He asks, wondering... and not missing the sadness in her voice.

Melissa blushes again. "There aren't any male teachers available..." She murmers... "Do you not like me?" She asks hesitantly. As he asks about the nearest building, she glances at it. "That's the pool area. We have a large indoor pool and waterpark..." Indeed, from the top of the building, a tower of water slide tubes rises towards the sky!

Will shook his head quickly. "No! Oh, no no!" He stopped walking and took Melissa by the hand. "Melissa, you're great. I wouldn't trade you for anyone else. I promise. I do like you, don't you think otherwise." He couldn't let all that work go to waste, all the trust he was building. Sure, she looked a little young for his taste, but he wasn't about to let any feelings she had get in the way of learning the deep secrets of this place.

"I did have a partner before you, yes. She... was a little too enthusiastic about certain things, in my opinion. There is one thing I do agree with about her methods." She looked up at Steve and gave him another sad smile. "You should take advantage of a situation when you can do it safely. You have to be ready to adapt when the situation arises." She turned to look down the beach. "As for what I'll be training you for, I believe the Family has a job for you when you leave here. I'll do my best to make sure you're as well prepared for your job as possible."

Stephen frowns. "Hannah... what aren't you telling me? Something has been off since I got here..."

Melissa blushes deeply as Will takes her by the hand and insists she is the best for him... she looks down shyly... her blue hair covering her eyes... contrasting against her rosy cheeks. "You... really think so?" She asks. Meanwhile, from his vantage point... Will can see right to the roots of her hair... it looks... naturally blue?

Will blinked at the oddness of her hair. Blue roots? So the carpet and drapes match... No, he couldn't think about that at a time like this. He leaned forward in an attempt to look her in the eye again. "I really think so. You shouldn't be so hard on yourself, Melissa."

"You'll find out soon enough. Just remember, these are bad people. I'll do my best to protect you, and prepare you for what they have planned, but they're still in control." She gave Steve's arm a squeeze. "When you're ready, I'll tell you everything. I promise. For now... I'd just like to walk with you."

Steve frowns a bit... but he cant see any reason not to trust Hannah. Unless she was part of this whole thing... He shakes off that idea. He couldn't start getting paranoid. He nods. "Alright... walk it is." He says, continuing arm in arm with the cute maid.

Melissa blushes, looking up into Will's eyes. She smiles... "Your a great guy... I just wish..." She blushes, looking away. "You weren't... stuck in this same situation..."

Will frowned. He was about to ask what being in debt had to do with her feelings for him, when a chime went off at the top of the hotel. It was noon already. "Heh, time flies, doesn't it. Come on, let's get some lunch. Maybe you'll feel better then." He took her by the hand and started in on direction, then stopped. "On second thought, maybe you should lead."

Hanna stayed quiet as they walked along the beach. After a few moments, she let her head rest against Steve's shoulder. She didn't say a word, just walked and held on to him. Eventually, a chime went off from the top of the hotel and she sighed. "Lunch time. We have to go back."

Steve blushes a bit... it was quite nice... just walking with Hannah... He blinks as the chime goes off and Hannah says its time for lunch! He nods. "Lead on!" Then pauses. "Errr... can we go back to change first?"

Melissa nods, smiling. "Yeah... I suppose I should." She says almost teasingly... turning and heading off down the street, her hand slipping around his...

Will smiled at the feel of her slender hand in his. She really was a nice girl, such a pity she got stuck here. He gave her hand a squeeze as he followed her. He looked around as they went, trying to keep track of where things were as best he could. "So, what's for lunch?"

Hannah finally let go of Steve and gave him a nod. "Of course. And... thank you. This was very nice." She gave him a warm, genuine smile before turning to go back to the hotel. "But are you so tired of seeing me like this already?" She stuck out her tongue and chuckled.

Stephen grins, blushing a bit. "I'd love to see you in that for longer... but then I'd have to wear this thing." He gestures down. "Or it wouldnt be fair... and I dont want to be seen in public in this more than I need to." He says, wrapping his towel around his waist again as he follows her to the hotel!

Melissa smiles. "We have a large salad buffet in the cafeteria... its really yummy." She says, leading him into one of several small cafe-like cafeterias. The interior is comfortable, with small tables and booths with cushy chairs.

"Great! Any burgers? I'm starved!" Will followed her in and scanned the buffet for the real food; she could keep her rabbit food to herself.

Hannah chuckled again, and gave Steve a sidelong glance and a smirk. "It'll get worse before it gets better, but trust me. It gets better." She glanced down and blushed before returning her eyes to the walk ahead. "Much better indeed." She guided him back into the mediterranean foyer and through the hall to his room.
