Circe's Shop of Magical Wonders

Mischa sighs. "Uh, Keth... I mean, Karen, is all this really necessary?" He rummages about in the costume bag, and tosses one of the costumes over the curtain to Circe to put on!

Thank you... *Some grumbling from Circe about the costume being "better than nothing" can be heard from the other side of the curtain, and soon a woman in a "teacher" outfit emerges from behind it, her face still slightly red.*

"That was like totally accidental and junk.. I mean circe even ripped her own dress further.."

*The "teacher" stamps her foot in protest.* I did no such thing!

*Claire re-enters the shop, the very picture of the elegant and loyal servant... well, except for her bandaged knuckles. She turns to Circe and bows.*

Claire: I apologize for leaving the property while on the clock, my Lady. I will try not to let it happen again.

[Circe]

*The teacher (who, let's face it, is obviously Circe) sighs.* No, no... That's fine. This whole thing is getting ridiculous anyway...

Claire: *nods* I should say so--- *clears her throat* Excuse me.

[Circe]

*Circe nods.* You're excused. Though, don't you have something you could be doing about now?

[AmbushCat]

Claire: *nods and indicates the little foxgirl* I hope she's alright... *stoops down to see eye to eye with it* Excuse me... Chris, if I recall?

*Circe smiles faintly.* That's better... Well, what I'd like for you and Mischa to do is to go out and try to do some advertising for my shop. So, you can either do that now, or wait for Mischa to chose his costume so you can go together. It's up to you.

Claire: *nods and indicates the little foxgirl* I hope she's alright... *stoops down to see eye to eye with it* Excuse me... Chris, if I recall?

Sniffling, Chris looks up at Claire, slowly nodding. "Uh...uh-huh?" She stammers out, rubbing her eyes a little.

Claire: *face softens; offers her hand* I'm sorry if your visit here did not turn out like you expected. Would you like me to offer you a snack and help you settle down a little?

Pausing for a moment, Chris slowly takes Claire's hand, before slowly nodding and smiling a little. "I-I'd like that."
