As Tuo advances into the bunker, more turrets pop out and fire at her! However, one of her apps makes her halo expand into a shield that deflecs the shots back at the turrets, destroying them!

After a moment of surprise and relief at the apps making it so easy I frown..this is TOO easy. I turn off the auto defense apps/weaponry and attempt to divert the freed up process speed to increase my own reaction time and speed before taking off deeper into the bunker.

Everything seems to slow down for Tuo as she frees up her processing power. A few more turrents pop out before her, but they come so slowly that she's raced past their effective range before they're even fully out!

Suppressing a giddy laugh at the speed and reaction time I'm experiencing, I check my sensors and map apps to try to find a way to where I can directly interface with the artificial soul and hopefully have a halfway civil conversation so I can tell it about the reincarnation shop.

Checking her maps, it seems that the bunker has been designed rather like a tree, with the computer as it's roots and the entrance as the highest point. Good news is that means the AI is just a straight shot forward. Bad news is that there are likely worse surprises in store as she advances.

Well, seems pretty straight forward. With that cleared up I shut down the map to free up more processing speed as I rush down the main hall to the computer, only limiting my speed to not exceed my sensors for danger.

As Tuo races into an enormous warehouse full of various crates, a forklift drives right at her, aiming to impale her!

"DIIIIIIIIE!" the AI shrieks from speakers in the corner of the room.

I ignore the obviously invalid command before attempting to time a leap onto one of the forklift's..fork..things before attempting to remotely override it's controls to safely carry me through the warehouse. It's not as fast as my running but at least this way this particular forklift shouldn't be able to impale me, besides I'm still giving my systems a field test while I'm at it, better to risk something not going right with this kind of thing instead of it failing during a more serious event that happens surprisingly often in muffinville.

As she attempts to hack into the forklift, she finds herself in a virtual duel with the AI as it struggles to retain control! The AI manifest itself as a woman's face made entirely of binary, one that snarls and glares at Tuo! She put sup a good fight, but she is just an AI, whereas Tuo is the embodiment of this kind of thing!

After a brief twinge of guilt due to both feeling like I'm cheating and for pushing around this poor AI, I try to make it quick as I move the forklift through the warehouse, ready to jump or move on foot again should the speed be required.

The forklift travels through the rest of the bunker uninhibited. Seems the AI was spooked by Tuo's display back there.

As I near the end of the warehouse, I double check the map again real quick before taking off in flight down the hallway. However I start to get distracted, not paying full attention to my surroundings. Why am I distracted? I just am okay?

In that moment of distraction, the AI strikes, filling the path with blockades, aiming multiple turrets at Tuo as saws emerge from the ground to cut the forklift's tires and cut the fuel line!

I stumble off the forklift as it comes to a sudden stop, barely catching myself with my wings before I hit the ground saws. "Crap!" Momentarily disoriented, I'm too focused on flying and trying to use the forklift for cover against the turrets to try to take control of them or activate some apps.

"Now I have you!" the AI yells as more and more defenses fill ther hallway! Tuo is shot at with lasers, missiles and bullets as saws, spikes and blades emerge from the ground and roof, restricting her movement!
